This tumbler is absolutely GORGEOUS in person. I bought this because I have Kate Spade inspired office decor so this blended right in. I read ALL the reviews on this and was nervous about purchasing after reading that it leaks. I've only had it one day and I did test it with water , you just have to make sure it's on tight. I will update this review if anything out of the ordinary happens. The cap and interior of the same cup is creamy beige and gold looks like foil. I'm hoping it will stay the same. I bought this hoping I would inspire me to bring coffee to work instead of buying it daily. If you're a into feminine details this tumbler is for you. PS : my opinion it doesn't keep your drinks that warm though no more than an 1 hour but surprisingly it did keep my drinks ice cold for 3 or so hours ... show more

I love this mug! I did notice people mentioning that it dripped so I was worried but I loved the look so I gave into the TREAT YO'SELF way of life. lol While it did drip for me, that only happened once and I realized it was because it wasn't closed properly when I started moving around with it, causing some coffee to get stuck in nooks and spilling out when I drank. Just make sure it's fully closed tight and you will be fine. Something like that would happen to any mug, it's not a defect on this one. Details, details. It's very true that you will see smudges but it really doesn't take much to hand wash. I want to FEEL like a diva, not BE one. lol Just buy the mug! Buy. The. Mug. LOVE IT! ... show more

Title: Stylish but terrible quality — paint peeling off in less than a week I bought this Kate Spade New York thermal tumbler because it looked elegant and chic. However, I’m really disappointed. In less than a week of use — no dishwasher, no harsh scrubbing — the gold paint is already peeling off! I was extremely careful with it, and it still looks worn out and cheap now. Yes, it’s hermetic and works well in that sense, but the exterior quality is awful. For the price, I expected something that would last. I do not recommend it. ... show more

I love this mug. I was cautious after reading a lot of the reviews as people reported leaking. It can be difficult to make sure you've closed the lid properly, but once you learn the trick there are no problems. (Basically the trick is to mess with it a little bit and it will slip into the right place.) I tip it after I put the lid back on to test just in case. I will agree with the review that said it is difficult to keep clean with the part that locks. Overall I really love this mug - it's my go-to right now during the day. I've had this mug for a month now, I get so many compliments on it. People ask me all the time where I got it and how they can get one. Major mug envy going on in my office. :) You have to be careful to screw the lid on properly or you will wear coffee all day, but once secure properly there are no drips or leaks. I was concerned at first that the gold bands would chip but they're holding up wonderfully. I really love this mug and it has a great price point! ... show more
