These earrings have a little metal ball at the end of the clasp. This little ball renders the earrings unable to be worn as you can't get it through the holes in your ears. Now I read in the questions and answers that many people have complained of this unfortunately I didn't see that before I purchase these. Now I know exactly what they're talking about. The little metal ball looks small but it keeps the earrings from going through any of the five holes in my ears so based on my experience and all the other people that had to return these it is not an acceptable feature of these earrings. I do not ordinarily give feedback but I decided to review this product simply because I believe that it is well worth the price and is exactly what I was looking for.These earrings are substantial enough and yet they are not too heavy for my earlobes so it does not feel like they weigh a ton. They are comfortable and not at all flimsy. Am really at a loss to understand why others think the clasps are too small and not secure enoough. I do not find that to be so and given the price of gold (over $ 1000/ounce), I think this is money well spent. I think it would be hard to find hoops this large, at that price and 14K gold.
