The watch band can have links removed to adjust for size. Unfortunately, the manufacturer, does not include instructions. On the Kate Spade website, there also are no instructions. Many websites told me to go to a jewelry store. DO NOT!! It is easy to adjust with NO TOOLS! (again, a simple insert, comments on the box, or even a picture of how to do it would have saved me over 1 hour of attempts, google searches, etc. The secret to adjust is this: turn the watch band over (much easier to do this when it is not attached to the watch) on the back side of the first 4 links on each side of the clasp you can see a hinge. Turn the band over to the front side, tilt the hinge up so you can, with a fingernail, pop open the hinge. To close, just snap it shut. No tools needed.

UPDATE 11/21: the REAL Kate Spade watch band has fallen apart after <6 months of non-daily use. I wore it infrequently and am very gentle with my things. Feels substantial and looks nice, but not durable at all. I purchased this watchband and assumed what I received was real. The box it came it had been opened, but the watchband appeared legitimate. Over the next week of wearing it, I noticed it continually came unlatched, allowing my Apple Watch to fall off of my wrist. I asked Amazon for a replacement, assuming it was defective. But when I got the replacement, I realized it was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the band I originally received. See pictures: the real KS band (on left) is stamped on the rear with their logo and ‘stainless steel’. The fake band (on right) is not stamped at all. The links of the real (left) vs counterfeit (right) band are different widths and the quality of the latches differ. And, the real band from KS is much heavier. The latches feel much more substantial and secure. AND it fits my wrist better. So glad I got the real thing. Beware of counterfeit products being sold here!

I’ve been eyeing this one for quite some time, but was nervous about purchasing it based on some reviewers having difficulty adjusting the band size. If that’s holding you back, have no fear, it was extremely easy to adjust. I really love the way this looks, it’s such an improvement on the silicone band that comes with the watch. Absolutely gorgeous!

I’m very petite and even with removing 3 links this still fits perfectly- not too tight or loose which is usually a problem for me. The color is a true rose gold and it is very comfortable. I like the vents so that my skin has some breathability. I don’t believe it is too clunky. I think it’s really quite beautiful and elegant. Much nicer than the band it comes with. I think it dresses it up perfectly. If it scratches I’ll update review.

-It’s a nice, well made band. -Each link has a clasp so the band size is SO easy adjust! No tools needed...woohoo! -I think it’s a little overpriced but the quality of the links and the clasp are better than that of cheaper versions. -I wish the links were matte rather than shiny.

Such a beautiful addition to my Apple Watch. Band fits 40mm perfectly. I have the Apple Watch series 6 gold. I will say the watch band is true rose gold and matches very well with the “gold” Apple Watch series 6. The watch band clasp is super easy to release with one hand and closes easily as well. Very satisfied customer.

This is absolutely stunning. I’m not sure it should have been quite so pricey but it’s Kate Spade so you pay for the name. So far it has held up like a dream. No scratching or turning black. It’s just beautiful!!
