It looks like imitation gold which it is but since there's so much more gold in the necklace than the earrings you really notice it. I bought this because I have a long disco pansy station necklace that I adore and always get compliments on. This necklace does not have mother of pearl flowers on both sides of the pendant, the pendant only has one side. The chain itself was basically a chocker on the shortest setting, it has a chain to make it larger which I think only contributes to the cheap feeling of the necklace. It would probably be better suited for a girl or adolescent, too small for an adult. ... show more
