These are the perfect oven mitts. I really like how thick and well padded these are. They can withstand very hot temperatures without burning your hands. They are also extra long, so your arms are protected as well. (I have a photo showing a standard oven mitt next to these for size comparison.) These oven mitts are made of 100% cotton and they can be washed easily and clean up like new. The price seems a little high, but I feel for this quality and the extra length, this is an excellent value. They would also make a wonderful present for anyone. I really like the red, white and blue stripe that I picked out. I can easily find them in my kitchen and they go very well in my kitchen. I highly recommend these oven mitts. ... show more

I love these oven mitts so much! They're some of the best quality I've ever used. They're thick, sturdy, and well made. Plus, they're adorable! These would make a great gift, except you probably will want to keep them for yourself!

These oven mitts are so cute, but they come up high on the forearms and they're too long for my hands, making them feel awkward. I'm tall and so is my husband, we've both used them and they're really too big on us. I'll probably get a different set because they don't feel secure enough when I'm getting dishes out of the oven. If you're over 6'2 they'd be perfect on longer arms. ... show more

These striped cloth oven mitts are nicely made and attractive. I’ll probably be saving them for bringing hot foods to the dining table and as a decorative kitchen item, but I think they are thick enough to offer protection for moderately hot pots, pans, and baking dishes. They’re perfect for taking food out of the microwave or a moderately hot oven, but when taking a cast iron bread pot out of a screaming hot 500 degree oven, I’m sticking with silicone mitts.
