I got a wide foot. Finding anything comfortable is tough. I have purchased 3 pair of these because 1 I have worn non stop and they have been relegated to yardwork and wearing to do things around the house. The second is so I can wear a nice clean pair out during the casual summer outings. The third is still in the box, waiting for the first to finally give way after a year and a half. So the pros are that they are like wearing a slipper. With socks and without. They go on easy and great. They are super comfortable and I have been in them on my feet for over 6 hours on concrete and asphalt. My back never hurt. They have memory foam in them which is why they are so comfortable. I love the cool laidback feel of them. Cons, I would not call it a con for me but other might not like that they do not squeeze my foot. Other may call it low lateral support, but these have not split the sides at all. These are pretty good, especially for the price. I would give them a try. Oh yeah.. First, I am a fan of Sketcher'r and own over a dozen pairs. I have never had a fitment problem with them but these shoes were a bit tight from the start and I probably should have returned them right away. My bad. I waited to see if they would loosen up. The right shoe fits perfect the last show has an irregular shaped toe box that rubs on my toe and causes pain after a while. I cannot wear them. I contacted Sketcher's and sent them pictures and info. They claim there is a 2 year warranty for defective products but they just said to try to get Amazon to return them first. I contacted Amazon and they refunded me. ... show more

Well, I love these shoes. The manufacturing is perfect, flawless in fact, which was quite a surprise. The insoles are very comfortable with adequate to better arch support. I bought the sale color, a khaki green, and it's nice. A word of caution - I ordered the 12W and it IS w-i-d-e. That works best for me, but if the shoe loosens up as it breaks in, it may become an issue. That said, highly recommend. ... show more

I tried the whole 'ordering shoes' a few times last year- no success at all. Horrible actually. This time I tried 3 shoes at the same time- different sizes, different makers. One showed up that was the wrong size listed and wrong size ordered. The other was fine but didn't look like the photos. This pair- just amazingly well done. Better quality than I expected and a perfect fit. Nice materials, nice craftsmanship and true color. Granted- it was more than I wanted to spend and easily the same price or more than a brick and mortar shoe store but it was a style I couldn't find and it arrived in two or three days.     • Comfortable Casual Shoes for All Occasions (Well Almost All)

I bought the Khaki version of the shoe back in April for a week-long trip to Hawaii. I spent a week sightseeing and hiking on Kauai and Oahu. While the shoes are not really "hiking" shoes, they were great. I took a several-mile-long hike along the rocky Kauai coast, and the shoes felt fine the whole time. And they were comfortable while spending hours on planes and hiking through six different airports. Being able to slip them on and off without having to bend and tie laces was wonderful. As a retired Army officer, I have to question the shade of color for the shoe. Their idea of "khaki" and mine are very different. I wore "khakis" for many years, and these shoes are not "khaki." But, the shoes are a nice neutral shade that can be worn with many outfits. And I just recently got a "Navy blue" pair. They are not dark blue like true Navy, but they are blue. I got them for my 5-day excursion through Disney World this fall. Like the others, they are comfortable and should do well for extended walking. I have used them a few times for my daily 2-mile walks. The "Well Almost All" in the headline refers to the fact that the trip to Hawaii was for my daughter's wedding.
