I’d truly give it a 4.5 star if I could. It matches the farmhouse theme perfectly, but my one complaint would be that it’s a little “rougher” than I would have liked for the rustic look. I tried taking more of a close-up to show. It was a struggle to hang (I’m a 5’4” smaller female) and I really could have used an extra set of hands, but I made it work. I saw some reviews saying that it doesn’t come with hardware, but mine did. You just have to dig through the box to find it.     • No hanging hardware

The mirror itself is gorgeous! My issue with it is there is no hanging hardware and the holes that are used to hang the mirror are not a standard size so I have to find screws and anchors that fit it. The only other option is to use screwd and anchors and hang from the bar. For how much I paid you would think the hardware to hang would be included. ... show more

It's listed as "farmhouse" and "rustic". Great, all acceptable. I wanted it to look just like it did in the stock photos. Came in a sturdy box, all hardware included, and then I looked at the actual mirror. Firstly, the barn door feature is pretty cheesy when you see it in person. That's my own opinion, I know many other reviewers really liked it. It just looks weirdly fake, and not just up close. It looks weird from several feet away. Second, there was a LOT of brown showing around the edges both on the outside and inside near the mirror. I'm all for farmhouse and rustic, but it just didn't look like the pictures because of how much sanding had been done to the edges for the brown to show through the black. I waited a long time for this mirror to come back in stock so having to return it was pretty disappointing. I guess my search is still on. ... show more

    • Rustic brown is worse than pictured, otherwise an OK product.

The mirror frame is made of wood boards, but the rustic brown finish is haphazardly applied. I was hoping for better. But all is not lost, I have removed the mirror and the backing from the frame and will be sanding off the rustic brown. Once that's done, depending upon the quality of the wood underneath, I will either paint the frame a solid color, or preferably be able to stain it and apply a quality sealer. The unfinished wood on the back surface of the frame actually looks far better than the front surface. If this were a frame for a picture that no one would approach closely the rustic brown might look acceptable, but it is a mirror, and folks will be approaching it close enough to see all of the shoddy finishing work. ADDENDUM. I removed the mirror, which was quite east as the mirror itself is glued to a backing board which in turn is held to the back of the frame by around 2 dozed Phillips screws. I sanded off the rustic brown finish which proved to be applied in varying thickness. The exposed wood is fairly low quality pine and has many knots. I finished it with 3 coats of spar urethane and it looks good with all the knots showing - but I hung it in a knotty pine paneled barn bathroom where it matches. If you are not into knots, be prepared to sand, prime to seal the knots and apply a solid color paint. ... show more

Very cute mirror. Goes well in our old farm house and lantern style light. Very solid. I wish it came with screws, but other than that it was easy to install and I would highly recommend.

First, this mirror is beautiful... or, the one in the photo is. The mirror I received was bent which doesn’t allow for it to be hung straight. It has a warp in the frame which is super disappointing because I think it was have been beautiful if I’d have been able to use it without one side being against the wall and one side being about 1.5 inch from the wall and the frame being straight enough to actually hang.
