I bought a XL and it gives me that loose fit I need to move around every day. I would say don't size up with this product- sizing chart is accurate and if your on the smaller size of 16 you can size down.

I love this jacket. From the deep pockets to the fit. My only complaint would be that it stays "tough" like it has been starched but in reality it's not a complaint because it's a great quality.
