Fits perfectly and is crystal clear with just a barely-noticeable seam. Appears to be unbreakable, unlike the broken glass one it replaced. Haven't had it long enough to see if the sun will turn it yellow but it looks just like glass for now.

So far so good. I got the clear fitter and it fit perfectly. I didn’t read the description that it was acrylic so it was a surprise. Reviewer mentioned to use led lightbulb instead of the standard so that is what I did. Looks nice. Will come back later to update if catastrophe strikes. ;-)

Best of all, it fits the 20 plus year old outdoor light fixture on the side of my garage. I accidentally broke the old glass bulb when I tried to take it off to clean the bugs and bird poop off. Can't complain, the price was right.

color is not as pictured. The actual color is basically the same color as the smoke, with the slightest amber tint. Basically looks like watered down tea.
