Well made and well designed fishing backpack. I particularly like that there are THREE rod holders, 2 on one side and 1 on the other. Each has a place for the rod butt and a strap above, so the rod is held in 2 places. Also, it's VERY spacious. And strong material-it will last many years of hard use. It came with 4 plastic trays but will hold a lot more than that. It's basically a fishing backpack that will do everything you need with no trade-offs. Of course, if you use it that way, that means a lot of weight to carry, but I like having everything with me. It does have the front chest clip, to redistribute the weight for longer term hiking. (I received this free, because I'd given them a good review in the past for their blue fishing reels, which I still strongly recommend. They didn't require a review, but obviously that's why they gave me the backpack. I'm giving an honest review).

This bag is awesome. So far it is holding up very well. There are plastic storage boxes, zippered storage bags, multiple pockets and places to attach your rods for easy transport. Comfortable adjustable straps top off this bag making it the perfect carry-all to get to your honey hole! FISH ON!

Excellent Tackle Bag! Thought maybe it would be a little large/bulky, even though I'm used to carrying an extra large hard tackle box and have more lures than I know what to do with, but I was wrong! IT'S PERFECT! Has more than enough room to hold the included 3700 storage boxes, along with plenty of extra storage! I've been able to add a 5th 3700 storage box to it (dedicated to holding 36 spinnerbaits/buzzbaits "lay-down style") along with a 6-Spool storage box for different lines. All this without even mentioning the additional outside pockets, and (the best of the best) the INCLUDED soft bait binder that easily clips on and off the front of the bag. KastKing has also included external holders for rods and additional items/storage, which I don't use for that purpose, but does hold my foldable fishing net perfectly. Extremely versatile, VERY comfortable to carry around, and an overall PERFECT tackle bag! Highly Recommended! If any negative issues come about, I'll update as always, but I don't see any happening with this bag anytime soon!

Can't speak for the durability but it feels like its high quality, zippers are smooth, and everything seems well thought through. I spent alot of time looking at these backpack style tackle bags. I was torn between the minimalist and something to hold everything... This fit the bill perfectly. This thing has multiple pockets for organizing and finding things quickly and a small bag that ataches so I can throw whatever tackle I want in it and leave the big bag behind, if I feel like it. Comfortable to wear and not too big if I want to take it all. I. 6'2" and 225 lbs for size reference.

I like this bag a lot. I bought this to replace an old military bag I've used for years. I like the divider inside that separated the 4 3600 boxes from the top half of the box. The divider attaches by Velcro. That being said, you'd expect this to come loose or fail. I've put significant weight in the topside and the divider hasn't moved or even bowed. I like the functionality of the rod holders and the pockets. They all seem to be in great locations and offer plenty of room to set up the bag for whatever fishing you are doing. The zippers are sturdy and problem free. The versatility of this bag is great minus the ability to attach items to the outside. I'd like to see more places to attach D-rings or clips for my fillet knife, scale, scissors, pliers.. etc. I ended up having to put everything inside a pocket which drives me mad. I will be sewing more attachment options in the near future. Another thing to note is to access the 3600 bozxs, the zipper is facing your back. This is new for me. I've always had them facing the rest of the bag so everything comes out in one side. The boxes are a tight fit inside. I have to stick one above and the two below while I sandwich a box between them and force it inside. It can be a pain, especially while I'm on my kayak. Overall, I'd buy again. This is a good product and could be great with a couple improvements.

I use this pack for my saltwater setups. It is easy to use, I love the clear holders in the front. After many years of tackle boxes and using army surplus this came in clutch. I can hold two of my rods on it and my net on the other side. I use the front stow for leader line as we make our own leaders. It holds well against the weather and the surf. Makes going to surf fish much easier. There are many places (pockets) to hold different items. If I had enough freshwater gear to need something to hold it, I would probably buy another one of these for it.

I originally picked this up thinking it’d be a great all-around tackle bag, but after using it a bit, I realized it’s better suited for longer fishing trips or anglers who carry a lot of gear. The bag is very well built and durable — no complaints there. It’s just on the larger side, and for my quick saltwater runs, it ended up being more than I needed. Tray access from the back takes some getting used to, and the size can make staying organized a little tricky when you’re packing light. But for long trips the bag is terrific. Zippers are strong and the zippers in the bag are also top notch. And the removable soft plastics pouch is a cool idea. That said, the company’s customer service was top-notch. After I shared my concerns, they reached out directly and took the time to follow up. That kind of support really says a lot about how much they care about their customers. So while this particular bag didn’t end up being the best fit for my style, it’s still an awesome well built bag and worth the money . I’ve got nothing but respect for the team behind it. I’m a big fan of their products and own quite a few of them as they really are designed by people who are fishermen themselves.
