I can honestly say in my 4+ decades of life, I’ve never had trouble plugging something in. But while I appreciate the tight fit of this cord, it is a wee bit too tight. And by wee bit, I mean it took 2 people 45 minutes, a lot of swearing and a lot of Googling just to plug in a regular old 3-prong plug. First I tried. It barely went in. I wiggled and jiggled. Nothing. I pushed and shoved. Nada. I tried with such might to get that plug in that I’m typing this with literal bruises on my hands. I decided it was defective and was going to return it, but after a little Google search, I saw some cords just start out tight. Keep trying, it said. My hands and arms were shaking from the twenty minute struggle, so I called out my husband to help. To help… plug something in. He laughed at me. Then all six foot one of my muscled up tough guy husband marched out to do the simple task of plugging something in. He couldn’t. I laughed at him. Together we pushed and shoved, wiggled and jiggled, almost returned it, but finally… finally… it gave. And it works great now. Not that I think we’ll ever get that thing unplugged now, but I don’t care. It can stay plugged in for eternity, because we aren’t going through that again. So, if you’ve got some serious muscle to help if you get one like mine, it’s a great cord. If you don’t, then I would maybe pass or just immediately return it if it doesn’t go in. My husband was too stubborn to give up or it would have been returned, but we finally succeeded… though our hands are still weak and bruised. Don’t be us. Give up if yours is too tight. It’s not worth the damage to your hands… or your pride. ... show more
