This works really well on my magnetic stirrer, and it's a great volume (storage) to work with. Easy to clean, easy to use daily, wish the volume markers were on both sides of the container. I really like the glass, and it seems to hold well with use, no scratches and is still clear.

I had previously bought a set of beakers which has been really nice, but while washing it I dropped it into my sink and instantly broke the 1000ml beaker from my set so I ordered this as a replacement. The new 1000 ml beaker is of slightly better quality than the one in the set. It seems thicker and more durable although I’m trying very hard not break this one I did already drop it in my sink once and it survived unlike the earlier one. Works well for large batch formulation projects which is what I use mine for. Has survived a couple sessions of heating up and then placing in the freezer already and going strong! Nice looking beaker clearly marked measurement lines and amounts, with large opening for ease of cleaning. Great value for the money! ... show more

The only bad thing I can say about these beakers is that I've seen thicker sidewalls and lips... but then again, I've also worked with beakers that were even less stout with no problem. These are an excellent value for the price. I used them in electroplating and occasionally for other operations involving electrolysis. Finally, they're accurate enough to perform the most mundane-- yet sometimes highly necessary-- business of merely serving as a graduated beaker. Product arrived fast and in superb condition. Very well packed. Each beaker was wrapped in foam padding and nested, in a box, and placed in another protective box and then inside the packing box. Beakers were in pristine condition. Very nice. 5 stars.
