The sound quality lacks a bit but a great value for the money. There are 2 CD's that come with machine which was good initial test. I have several other CD's on order which I will be able to really put it to the test. Hooked the audio and video up to our 40 inch TV and works great. We plan on using it in our Tiki bar with family and friends. You can also order a better microphone (have one on order) and a wireless one as well. I haven't tried the Bluetooth or USD/SD yet but you can sync it up with your phone and use Karaoke apps. ... show more

I just received the Karaoke USA Model GF844 karaoke unit today, and I love it! I put it through all of its paces -- tried every feature. They all work; they're easy to use; and the sound quality is remarkably good and powerful. That includes, among other things, using CDG discs, MP3+graphics disks, recording onto a USB memory stick, and playing songs from my cell phone through the speaker. I had posted a question as to whether or not it had a headphone jack and, if so, whether plugging in a headphone muted the speakers. No one responded, but I know now that the answer is "yes" to both questions. The unit is light and compact and, so far, a joy to use. I am mindful that it may not be rugged, but I intend to treat it gently, just in case. The two included discs are, as many have said, fairly useless, but who cares? ... show more

    • The provided songs, on 2 CDs, are not very useful or modern....and Using USB.
I like that the machine is relatively easy to use...even before fully reading the Manual. It is NOT critical but it would be more useful if they provided HMDI cords which could be connected to the TV. I may have to buy HMDI adapters. RCA cords are provided. I do NOT like hardly any of the 300+ songs which are provided on CDs. The songs are for very old people and not for younger people who will be doing the Karaoke. The Company should consider having a system or purchase plan which will allow/enable customers to download songs (10 for example) of their choice from the Amazon Music Store. On another topic....using the USB (Flash Drive). Be sure to remove the CD when you want to use the USB because the machine will NOT recognize the USB and ,therefore, you will not be able to access it. The instructions are not clear on this point in my view. ... show more

She was thrilled with his karaoke machine. The size is not bad compared to others blue Microphone was good quality not fabulous but good quality. It was fun for her and her brothers to use

Was okay while it worked. Speakers are buzzy. Microphones are trash. Bluetooth stopped working less than 6 months after purchase. Customer service was unresponsive. I thought it strange to have the screen facing the same direction as the speakers, but since the speakers are very weak, feedback is not a problem. Discs that come with unit are cheesy--they sound like ice cream truck music. ... show more

If you are a parent now and used to sing in a band or whatever, missed your boat and want your family to hear you sing do NOT buy this thing. It sounds dull and awful. It's nowhere near the same as a PA please know that. Sounds like you are singing in the next room and someone can hear you through a wall. The echo is set to a static ms and it's way too fast. For anyone else go for it, it will be fun. This thing will disappoint anyone that has ever sang into a mic for real. ... show more
