So I can't even begin to describe how pleasantly surprised I am by this karaoke machine. Set up could not be easier, and it paired with my iPhone 16 Pro Max in seconds after turning it on. There was some charge still in the machine and the microphones out of the box, so I was able to test before even charging, which is always a nice surprise. I was not expecting much from the audio quality from the speaker, but it is actually really impressive. Very clear, very loud, no distortion. In fact, the only distortion I noted was when you switch the sound modes and the slightly broken English announces which mode you are in, very loudly. A minor complaint is that it does not remember which mode you were in when you last used it, so if you prefer the natural sound mode, which doesn't have any reverb, you'll need to cycle through a few modes prior to selecting the natural mode. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Both microphones were already paired out of the box, and just required turning them on. My wife and I enjoyed singing for about an hour this weekend, and it has been extremely fun for us (we're fun that way). I really do like the lighting, as well, and you can cycle through a few different modes of lighting that has a premium look to it rather than ugly, individual LEDs. The stand on the top is perfect for putting an iPad or an iPhone in for reading lyrics, and overall the entire experience has been really excellent. One other minor complaint is that I wish there were magnets where the microphones sit into the main unit, because they just sit loosely in there and can fall out if you tilted the unit on its side, etc. Again, not a huge deal, but something I noticed. Overall, this machine has been a complete hoot, and actually great value. 4.75 out of 5. Excellent

This is an awesome little machine! It's earned a permanent place on the livingroom bookshelf, because the sound + the portability + all the fun sound options make it a big winner for family time. It also looks really nice on the shelf! The cream/tan/gold color scheme is a nice departure from black/neon of many machines. It looks high quality and expensive. My family has owned a ton of these mini karaoke machines over the years. This one had some charge right out of the box so we got to try it right away. The sound is shockingly good, especially for the size! The adults in my family appreciate the power and clarity, and the kids love the effects. I especially like the little slot on top where you can set your phone or tablet if you're using it for lyrics. It seems well-made, and has held up to sometimes rough handling by 6 kids, ages 3-19. It's simple to use, with intuitive controls that didn't require instructions. Our 3 year old can only hold a mic to sing, but the other kids ages 8-13 were able to navigate use easily. Karaoke is one of relatively rare ways we've found to encourage collaborative play among such a wide variety of ages in our house, so to me these mini machines are worth their weight in gold. This one is a true gem, and I highly recommend it!

This little karaoke machine is so much better than the really expensive one we’ve had in our family for years, mostly gathering dust. The set up is simple and easy. Really no need to even look at the directions. It paired up with the iPad immediately and was already charged enough to give it a go right out of the box. Within minutes, my young daughter was singing along to her favorite tunes, with her goofy dad joining in on the second microphone here and there. The sound quality is the first thing you notice. It is very impressive for such a relatively inexpensive machine. Although there are numerous modes, she prefers the “natural” mode which doesn’t have all the echoing reverberating effects. The colorful lighting patterns on the box just make it more fun and enjoyable. We also love the different voice modes and play around with it when making family announcements to the household. With our other karaoke machine, we would take it out for use but store it away in the bottom of the closet when done. However, this little guy has a permanent spot on our living room end table as it is compact, aesthetically pleasing to look at and gets too much use anyway to keep putting it away and getting it out again. Five stars!
