I've owned and/or tested out quite a few karaoke solutions, and for a couple of years now, Ikarao has been consistently designing and releasing the best all-in-one solutions in the game (IMHO). This latest machine, the Break X2, has blown me away with the sound and features for the size and price. It comes beautifully and securely packaged, and then the unboxing experience lets you know there's real quality and care inside. Between all of the features, the recharging mics, the multiple karaoke apps plus YouTube, the HDMI out, swiveling screen, the ability too plug in more mics or instruments, that hard to find feature of a REVERB dial, plus Bluetooth audio from your smart devices...I mean, for my needs, it's the ultimate party speaker plus karaoke machine combo. I have zero complaints, it just works. Five solid stars.

…Compatible with other brands of BT speaker/karaoke machines, as that’s my situation - using this Ikaro speaker stand with a different brand of karaoke machine/BT speaker as neither the Ikaro Break X1 or X2 worked for me. Almost sent this back because I didn’t think I’d need it but it turns out the BT speaker/karaoke machine I’m going with (feel free to hunt down my other reviews to see what that is - ha ha) has the speaker mount hole. But it’s all good - the stand seems to be solid, strong, and supportive, as well as adjustable depending on your particular needs or speaker. As long as the hole in the speaker works, you’re good to go. Seems like a keeper!

The best thing about the product is that it is truly an all-in-one karaoke, complete with a tablet that can be used as display and two wireless microphones that are stored and charged directly in the machine. You literally just need to take this machine around anywhere you go, and you would instantly be able to enjoy karaoke with your favorite group. The display and sound quality are also nice, with the sound quality especially impressive for a portable machine like this. You can obviously choose to connect this to more powerful speakers if you wish as well, as it has good integration capabilities there, whether wired or wireless. The display is clear and crisp, and the touchscreen nature of the tablet makes it easy and straightforward to navigate around. My reasons for the star off in the end are as follows: 1. I think the $400 price tag on this makes it a bit expensive, even with its all-in-one capability. There are good options out there, albeit without the built-in screen, that I have tried in the ~$50 range, and I am not sure that the added functionalities in this machine are worth the giant gap in price. 2. The Android tablet that is included doesn't use the traditional Google Play Store, so you are a bit limited if you were after installing other apps. Even in the case of Youtube, you are using an Internet browser to navigate and search, rather than being able to use the native Android Youtube app. 3. I found the navigation back to home to be non-intuitive; I could only use the back button, which, if I am in the Youtube app as an example, meant that I had to go back through my entire search history before being able to go back to the home screen. Maybe it was just me not being able to find some magic button, but it was a bit frustrating to not be able to directly go back home. As an aside, the machine is pretty heavy and bulky, so it does take some effort to carry this around, in case portability is very important for you. Overall, I am happy with the overall quality of the machine, but there are some flaws and questionable value that resulted in me rating this at 4 instead of the full 5 stars.
