I bought this for my brother for Christmas. he is one of those people that are hard to buy for. but he plays so many different instruments, and loves music and when I came across this I knew I had to get it for him. I gave this thumb piano as a gift, and my relative immediately started learning how to play it. The sounds are pleasant and interesting. The piano comes with sample songs and instructions. There is a larger version of this same item, so customers may want that. I didn't notice it, so I purchased the smaller and less expensive one. Still, what a neat gift idea for a musical person!

The media could not be loaded. This was a great Christmas gift for my 7 year old! It came with the notes all pretty well tuned. It looks and sounds beautiful. It feels smooth and lightweight. I think it’s a great deal for $30. It comes with a little hammer for hammering the keys with if you prefer that over using your thumbs but we don’t think it produces as nice of a sound as using your thumbs. My daughter has enjoyed trying to figure out some songs by ear but it also comes with a little book of songs and tells you which keys to thumb to play the songs. We are really happy with this purchase!

It is really cool. It could be more than just a toy or novelty, but it goes above and beyond if that is all you are looking for, it is a unique instrument that you can enjoy anywhere. Very portable and has a nice sound, I would love to slap a pickup on it and run it through some effects...soon. If mine broke I would buy another.

Very nice quality and sound. I got this for my 9 year old granddaughter and she really liked it. At our family Christmas get together where she received it quite a few people picked it up and started fiddling with it and were soon playing little ditties. Plucking with the thumbs sounded best.

Beautiful sound quality! Mine are perfectly in tune. Sounds so cute and pleasant even when just fooling around with it. Makes a really pretty and unique coffee table peice that guests can pick up and play. We have the one with more 'keys' (in blue) and the smaller wooden brown one. My kids, 8 and 10 love them. (Just make sure your kids don't bend the metal keys up or it messes up the instrument.) They are beautiful to look at, fun to play and sound great! My inner hippie wants to take one wherever I go. They come with a little bag :)
