I accidentally found this and thought it was interesting. Decided to buy it on Prime Day as it was marked down to about $16... So glad I did! Not only is it cool, but the quality and everything that's included is just beyond expectations! It came in a well packed box with a velvet bag, instructions, a tuning hammer, and silicone finger tip covers. There's a booklet that literally gives you a short history of the instrument, explains the different sounds and tones, and includes a few simple songs you can practice with. It looks fairly easy to learn. If you're on the fence, watch the demo video the seller shows within the pictures and know it's pretty much exactly that. I like that it's not tiny but not very big either. I plan to learn how to play it and show friends at an upcoming vacation as a conversation piece.

Not expensive, decent quality Kalimba. Very light, good sound. No, it doesn't have a jack to plug into an amp and use with your distortion pedals. Everything isn't metal, folks.

The instrument is beautiful. It has weight and feels well made. The tone is lovely. I found the instructions to be somewhat complicated at a glance. But I am not musical. Perhaps it's better for someone else. However, having said this, just playing with it randomly was very soothing. Not being able to play "twinkle,twinkle" is not that big of a deal. This was a gift for a musically inclined 10 year old. They were very pleased to open the gift and seemed excited to have it.
