I started playing this the day that I received it in the mail, and my two cats immediately took to the sound of it. Whenever I'm settling down to go to bed for the night, I play for a little bit and it seems to mellow them out nicely, whereas they're usually running around the house. It's a really pretty instrument, and this is made of decent quality, despite really being a cheap thing from China. I wish more things were made in the US, but alas, this was a good product for the price.

Nothing fancy per say, but this fella is holding up pretty well all things considered. Does have one dead tune, but given the range otherwise its a nice affordable 21 key option. Be aware though while this guy has range his arrangement is different from a lot of tabs you'll find online.

The media could not be loaded. I am impressed with this Kalimba. It is big in my kids hands but for beginners it works great. Tuning is fairly simple for those who are just starting out which is great. Sounds good and I love the fact that it has both the numbers and letters on the keys along with the higher notes having the dots to indicate so. Fun for those who like playing video game and or anime tunes too.

This kalimba is beautifully made, solid, and has a wonderful tone. And at an age when so much focus is on video gaming or just practically anything to do with being on your phone or system -- and my grandson can tend to be one of those -- this little instrument brings him out and away from all that. And it's my opinion that just pecking around on this can awaken an unrealized potential, talent or desire for something more.
