I recently bought a Samsung Z fold 4 and was looking at reviews for different cases. I can see how this would be a difficult phone to make a case for. I was originally going to get the Samsung brand thin case with kickstand but alot of reviews said it wasn't thin and was heavy. Long story short,I decided to give this case a shot as it came up a few times and I'm glad I did as so far,It's everything I wanted. Something thin and semi rubbery for grip. I've read a few phone cases use a type of glue and this case came with rubbery tabs vs glue but I didn't use them. The case went on easily and allows the phone to open easily and the hinge cover isn't overly large. I like the rubbery texture of the case to absorb shocks If/when I drop the phone. As some people have said,due to the raised edges on the front screen,you may have difficulty at first hitting buttons near the edge but I find it's fine and adapted quickly,even with fat fingers, and there's really no way around that If you want the raised protection there for the screen . I did turn on the screen sensitivity on the phone to accommodate the screen protector as others have said and have 0 issues with the touch screen. The kickstand works good and that's what I really wanted along with protection. So far I'm really happy with this case. I'll update in the future If anything changes. I just got this case, so these are my initial impressions. The instructions that come with the case mention to peel off the protective film from the screen protector part of the case before installing. It appears there was no protective film that came installed, unless it’s there and I’m just missing it. Second, the instructions mention “small rubber strips” that look like they’re supposed to be installed on the corners of the front screen protector. My package didn’t come with any rubber strips. Once installed on the phone, the fit seems to be pretty good. I opened and closed it a few times and the front cover seems to stay on, which was a problem with other cases I’ve used. The part of the case that covers the phones hing is on a hinge itself. When you open the phone to tablet mode, the hinge cover flattens out to be inline with the back of the phone. I have some concerns that the hinge cover’s hinge might break over time, but we’ll see. A side effect of having the hinge cover is that when the phone is open in tablet mode, the hinge cover sticks out a little further than everything else, which means the phone won’t lay flat when it’s in tablet mode. I don’t think this will be much of an issue for me, but it’s with mentioning. The kickstand seems pretty flimsy, so I’m a little worried about it’s durability, but it’s nice that it’s there. I wish the kickstand was a little more adjustable, so I could make the phone lay more flat while I’m in tablet mode. The built in screen protector for the front screen has a very faint grid pattern when viewed in direct light and some other angles. I’m guessing this has to do with the touch functionality. It’s not very noticeable when the screen is on so I don’t think it will be much of an issue. Despite the negatives I’ve mentioned, I’d like the case overall. I hope after I use it for a few days that it fits my needs. I will provide and updated review if anything is worth mentioning (good or bad). I got the phone case on and I'm so glad I did look thoroughly this time for details granted anything online can be faked but it actually came with more stuff then listed. It had a whole cleaning pack like, alcohol wipes, a cloth, particle collector, rubber applicator strIps and instruction sheet showing you how to get it on the best way so its secure and what to do if it doesn't go correctly. A "warranty" moment if it's broken send it back we will send another. It was listed that it'd be sleek and form fitting to the phone designed so it wouldn't be bulky and it is like perfectly the side protector binding peice, when you open it you don't accidently open that binding peice ive had other cases that everytime you opened the phone itd open. I have used similar cases but I prefer this one - despite not having a stylus carrier, it is somewhat slimmer than the others and has the stand to prop it up when needed. I applied an adhesive stylus carrier and it solved my needs. Now it fits a pocket in my bag that I couldn't zip using the other cases. ... show more

    • Not horrible, but not the best design

I got this cause I was tired of my Supcase kickstand always breaking. Plus, I was wanting something that can do wireless charging and is a lot thinner than the Supcase. As far as thickness, it's a pretty slim design. Always a good thing. However, don't expect the impact resistance that would come with the bulkier cases. Meaning you're going to have to be a bit more careful. The wireless charging, I haven't got to test it out yet, but I feel like with the additional layer of material for the kickstand, I'm not convinced the wireless charging will work with my bike's qi charger. Will update later. This is the only case I've had to turn on the higher touch sensitivity option. Specifically, without this option turned on, the left side of the case has no response to touch for about a milimeter out. Even with touch sensitivity on, bringing down the notification menu while the phone is rotated landscape mode with the notification area on the left side, still doesn't actually work great. I do like the feel of the case. The material is nice and smooth while offering just enough friction for it to not slip out. In that regard it's better than the Supcase. All buttons are accessible on the sides and the charging port and speakers. As far as money goes, it's not the worst product. $30 (or less with promos) is an alright price with the kickstand, and hinge guard. I've had this case for 2 years, and it's still going strong. It's not scratched up and is still solid. It's an excellent case for the Fold4, and if I got the Fold7, I'd look for this case or one like it. The material is a soft touch material that isn't slick, and the hinge cover works well. I also realy like the stand on it. The only problem is the hinge cover does interfere with the cover screen when full unfoldered. This makes using the front screen to show what your main camera screen sees a little tricky when taking pictures, but some of that is due to the size of the phone and trying not to touch the inner screen when taking salfies with the main camera. Overall, a quality case. I'd definitely consider other cases from this company. Here's hoping Tim Cook hears my pleas and makes a foldable iphone. Tim, TAKE MY MONEY!!! ... show more

Lasted about 6 weeks before cracking in multiple spots around the front screen. Both sides on the corner near the hinge are now broken and that part is starting to fall off. I would not recommend it if you plan on keeping the phone longer than the return period of this case.
