Safe arrived after opening the door for the first time then the door fell off. The door hinges are too short. They shipped the door with foam stuffed in the door sides to keep the door on. I communicated with the sellers chat session and let them know what happened. I have no indication what the seller plans to do. The included instructions do not contain any information on how to communicate with the seller. The seller leaves you in limbo so I will contact Amazon to have them return the item. ... show more

Safe came in securely packed from shipping with excellent padding. Instructions were a little unclear. Here are my instructions to help other buyers to help you get going: (1) there is a key door you need to open to insert the key, it’s right above the numbers 7,6,5,4. Open the door with the key. (2) inside top of the door there is a battery box you need to put in 4 - AA batteries. (3) Press any number on the keypad to activate keypad, press 00, the press green button on the inside of door, enter your new code, then press “#” to confirm. (4) re-lock the door with the key and then remove the key. (5) turn the lock knob counterclockwise to lock safe. (6) Press any number on the keypad to activate keypad, enter your new code and press “#” to open. There is an LED light when you open the door. The white box that you can put 4 AA batteries is just a backup, you plug in the USB C cable attached to this white box to power up the keypad - there is a USB C port under the numbers 6,5 on the keypad, you don’t need this unless your main batteries die or you can just use your hard keys. Safe is sturdy and came with bolts to attach to a wall to secure but I won’t bolt it. Also I will need to email the seller, I think I’m missing a shelf on top but no big deal right now. ... show more
