Needed a gun safe storage option and found this one. Sturdy construction. Relatively simple to put together, takes some time and directions aren't the best but you can figure it out well enough. Door and frame are pre-assembled thank goodness. As far as weight it's under 100lbs so if you need to move it you can pretty easy. Pockets on the inside door are nice for extra storage. There is also a motion light that I didn't realize was there which is nice if you are putting it in a darker area. There is also a good amount of padding for storing guns which is appreciated. The storage cabinet on the top is decent for ammo or whatever else. The lock is sturdy and feels really nice. Foe the price I would definitely recommend. Good storage option.

First, this is NOT a gun safe, it's a relatively heavy duty cabinet with a really good door lock system compared to others. The distance between the bottom of the cabinet and the shelf/floor of the top box isn't quite tall enough to store rifles or shotguns with non-standard accessories. The two Axis bolt guns we have are too long with the recoil pads and muzzle brakes installed. Shotguns with 28" barrel also won't fit unless they are angled in the cabinet. Carbine length rifles fit fine, however. Wasn't especially difficult to assemble, but would advise that you honestly assess you ability to do such a thing. Instructions aren't particularly clear, and the process requires some thought. Holes lined up well and the unit is solid when completed. The shelf/floor of the top cabinet sits on brackets so you will need to figure out a method to secure it if that is a priority for you. I used a couple of angled brackets to keep it in place. Good tools are a must. Power driver for the screws and correctly sized wrenches/sockets. An assistant is also a good idea. This is far easier to get upstairs than a true gun safe of similar size. Tips the scales at less than 100 lbs, with most of that weight being in the door/frame assembly. The door and frame come assembled which is very helpful. There are some pockets on the inside of the door, but no padding. Also a smallish light which comes on when the door opens, but it's not of a great deal of use. Overall, it is a good value in my book if you understand the limitations of the cabinet. Not a fireproof safe, but seems to be more secure than the keyed metal cabinets out there.

A while back I bought two of these safes to hold my rifles when I moved into an apartment and wanted to keep them secure while I was away for work. I ordered two because I thought the listed storage capacity was optimistic. This much is true. You might be able to fit 8 to 12 bolt-action rifles or .22s in this unit, but if you're looking to store anything more substantial, the limit will be between 4 and 5. The safe comes with foam inserts to hold the barrels of long guns, and they mount to the inside with a sort of square "pegboard" system. As far as assembly, the safe comes with the walls and door, as well as the floor, internal shelf, and top, all in separate pieces. The door is pretty sturdy, with bank-vault style bolts locking into the doorframe. Assembly is doable alone, but I recommend getting a buddy to help. Fitment was good enough that I didn't feel like I was struggling, and other than nearly dropping the door on myself during assembly, everything went smoothly. For both units, the process took about an hour from start to finish. There was some frustration, particularly as the first unit came together, because all of the assembly points are located on the inside; this is good for security, but makes initial assembly somewhat troublesome. Normally, sturdiness would be a concern, but at this price point it's obvious you're getting more of a sturdy locker than a true safe. The bolts that hold it together are all on the inside, so as long as the safe is locked, I think it would be a sufficient deterrent to anyone trying to take your stuff. Once you have some guns inside, the unit becomes heavy enough that you couldn't safely move it, so that's another point for theft deterrence. It has a keypad lock, and an actual keyed lock as a backup. Personally, I just use the keys supplied with the safe and don't even bother with the keypad since I'm the only one that will be accessing the safe's contents. There's another chamber that takes up the top section of the safe, accessible only with a key, meant for pistols and other related accessories. It's less sturdy than the main door, but still stout enough for my liking. The only downside with this upper storage box is that it limits the internal volume of the main safe, and consequentially limits the length of long guns that can be stored. This is only a problem if you have anything long like a hunting shotgun or an old military bolt-action rifle you want to store. Overall, this safe is a good option if you don't have either the money or the space for a full-size gun safe. It's sturdy enough that I expect any potential burglar would just try to find something less cumbersome to burgle. It's light and small enough to fit in an apartment or smaller home, and very appealing if you're balling on a budget. It is sufficient for keeping your guns safely away from anyone who doesn't need to get their hands on them. Just be aware that you are getting what you pay for. If you have a larger collection or are planning to, I would recommend saving up to get a larger, sturdier safe from a well-known manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded. I need a safe box to store my AR and hand gun and keep away from my kids. I have looked through 7-8 gun safe boxes from amazon and pick this one. The price is pretty good for this gun safe box, and the quality is a little bit out of my expecation, and also, it is very easy to assemble. It tood me 90 minutes to build it up by myself. The gun safe is pretty study safe and has plenty room for my 2 AR and 2 Glocks and Ammos. I am planning to get another AR and handgun in next few months.The digital lock is kind of slow open if there is emergency, so I plan to keep the key with me in most of the time. So overall, with this price, I am happ with this gun safe.

I love this safe LOCKER. Internal dimensions fit my Pelikan case laying down. It's the perfect size, weight, and price for me. Pay extra attention to leveling the unit when installing or the frame can bend and torque just enough to where the top door isn't perfectly squared with the door frame. This is a locker with a reinforced door; remember highschool? The build was easy save for getting the lid on. I had to stop trying and just stare at the pieces for several minutes. Note the mounting grate holes are not standard pegboard distances from each other, hole size, or shape. Keys feel cheesy and the keyhole cover slider and battery door are extremely low quality, but the keypad is a big win. Zero flaws.
