I know 50x50mm VESA is kind of rare, and most of these adapters only support 75x75mm and 100x100mm. I ran into one - a refurb AOC 16T2 that does not include the VESA adapter (which is included should I buy it new) that adapts the 50x50mm into both 75x75mm and 100x100mm. I bought this adapter thinking it should let me use a tripod to hold up the monitor, but the mismatch means I need to drill holes on the adapter. I managed to drill some holes, not in the ideal location but it works. 5 sets of M4 screws of different lengths are included (6 each so there's spare), as well as washers (I counted 14). It works and is probably better than the other offering from the same brand in which the adapter plate is thinner and hence may not give as good a grip to the tripod screw, leading to a lower review rating. ... show more

This 75mm vesa mount fit my portable monitor perfectly. Thanks to this nifty 1/4 adapter, I can mount it to my numerous mic and camera stands. I'll be buying another for my mini pc very soon. I highly recommend it.

Product broke immediately upon threading the 1/4 20 mount. Instead of buying this poorly manufactured product, try instead lighting your money directly on fire. At least you can gain some warmth and entertainment from the latter option.
