    • It's a K&N air filter
These are direct replacements for the 2012 Mercedes CLS550 and basically any Mercedes with the M278 4.6L turbo engine. They fit great and installed easily. You won't gain much power, but these are cleanable and reusable, so it's the last air filters you'll ever have to buy for the car.

First drive with the K&N filters installed, the engine power increase was immediately noticeable. AND after another 20 minutes of driving, my Mercedes E550 with its twin turbo 4.7L V8 engine computer seems to "learn" the new way to breathe freely. Much more power was unleashed.
