My wife bought an NX300 and I a GX460 in the same month. Hers has a turbo and needs all the air it can get, so I installed a K&N the day after we picked it up. But I did a lease with the GX, and ended up buying it because I only put 9000 miles on it in 3 years due to Covid. So I never put a K&N in it. The whole time not loving the vehicle at all. It was a gas guzzling pig that couldn't get out of its own way. So my wife had some sputtering and stalling problems with her car 2 weeks ago. I quickly figured out that it only happened above 3000 rpm. So I met her in the CVS parking lot where she didn't want to drive it home, gave her my daughter's car to drive home, and I drove hers home. Sure enough, cylinder 1 code, and really burned up plugs. So I swapped the plugs early at 73k instead of 80, and cleaned/re-oiled the K&N that was already in the car. Then I swapped in some new coil packs. 120k mile lifespan my foot. I also threw some injector cleaner in the tank for giggles. Runs like a beast again. But although the filter didn't look dirty, it was. My wife said she could now hear a low "wind noise". So I said "stop jumping on the gas then" lol. She said "how did you know?" I said "That's the noise a car makes when it needs to breathe, and as of today, it CAN again. It's amazing how much better these K&Ns work when they're clean. Anyway, I went on an errand a few mornings ago in the GX, and man oh man what a pig. So I turned off the stereo and opened the windows. "Ah hah, I can't hear any intake noise AT ALL." So I went on Amazon and ordered this one. It came today, and I popped it in. WOW!! I've had these in everything from Hondas to Mustangs. NEVER have I felt such a difference in acceleration. The pig grew wings! We'll see how the gas mileage goes, but now that I can stomp the accelerator to have it take off almost INSTANTLY, and throw me back in the seat, I don't care, lol. So if your goal is gas mileage, I can't vouch for that yet. But if your goal is performance, shut up and give Bezos your money, lol. .....now let's go read up on those throttle body spacers.....

Fits just fine. I’m sure it functions fine. Haven’t seen any improvement in gas mileage. Good thing is if you maintain it you don’t have to replace it.

K&N Air Filters will always receive a Five Star rating from me because they last for a very, very long time! However, the gas mileage and upgrade specifics on this filter is argumentative and doesn't really do anything for the engine other than provides the air it needs for a more better engine performance. You won't see any gas savings here nor see an increase in horsepower. You'll get the same results but not as good gas mileage. My engine of my 2016 Toyota 4Runner breathes easier now.
