One of the problems of being a photographer is the cost associated with most gear. I already sink tons of money into lenses and bodies, so I really would like to get a break on the other stuff where I can. I opted to get these batteries instead of the Sony version because the price was MUCH lower. They came charged to about 60-70%, and I popped them in the charger to get them to 100%. As normal, my A7R5 pops up a warning that 'this isn't a recognized battery', but they work great anyway. The A7R5 is a battery hog as it is, so I needed to have at least 4 extra batteries for Weddings and long sessions. These work great, and for the price, I can get more sets and have 8-10 spare batteries with me on any shoot. Doesn't seem to make sense to me to buy the official name brand batteries. One thing I did note, when you plug an official Sony battery into this charger, the charger indicator doesn't function. But if you leave it in there for a while, I do overnight, it's always 100% the next day. So, value for money, these are great. ... show more

Compared to the official market offers this is a steal of a kit for the price, double charger and 2 extra batteries? Batteries work and are compatible with SONY and others. However i notice that the connection pins are much more prone to bending or breaking, as well as not holding a charge for as long as official parts. Nontheless it may be worth getting because youll get maybe an extra 1- 1.5 hours per battery. Can come in very handy in desperate times. ... show more

Just bought a used A7RV and only came with the original battery. Purchased this as a second set, as I usually need at least 3 when I'm off shooting. Batteries charged up perfectly and the charger turns green when the reach a full charge. So far, life seems as good as my original Sony. Good purchase!
