  • Fantastic value
Works great. Fantastic value for money with Canon R and R7.

  • Great alternative to the Canon battery
You can never have too many batteries for your camera.... It's a wise philosophy, but the cost to obtain batteries does play into how many is enough, right? I have a Canon R6 Mk II and a Neewer Vertical 2.4G battery grip and remote. I had read about the R6 Mk II having issues with 3rd party batteries, but I had already tried the Vivitar E6N units from my Canon 6D Mk II without issue, so I thought I'd give them a go.... Excellent power, excellent lifespan - I do a lot of astrophotography using the intervalometer function of the grip and remote, so this has been fabulous! I love that I can charge the batteries through the built in USB-C port, so one less charger to carry which is an added bonus. With some 3rd party batteries, the R6 Mk II flashes the Drive Mode symbol, but not with these (using Canon firmware 1.4 and 1.5). To the camera, they look like Canon batteries so far. Highly recommend these, especially at the price point. ... show more

  • Great batteries
These are great batteries that actually outlast the original ones from Canon. Love the fact that you can charge it by using the c-usb that is built directly into the battery. One less charging cradle that you have to worry about trying to find and carry with you. So nice to be able to charge the battery with a battery pack while you're out in the wilderness taking photos. ... show more

  • The ideal user would be someone who prioritizes functionality and value over brand prestige
Upon first inspection, the Powerextra LP-E6NH battery pack's packaging was straightforward and functional, with no pretensions of luxury but also no sense of cheapness. It seems designed to reassure the buyer of a solid, no-nonsense product inside. The batteries themselves boast a robust 2950mAh capacity, which is a significant improvement over the standard batteries provided by Canon. This higher capacity translates to longer shooting times, which is invaluable for photographers in the field or during extended sessions. The inclusion of a Type-C direct charging port is a thoughtful touch, offering the convenience of fast charging without the need for additional chargers. The charging time of 2.5 hours is impressive, and the clear indicator lights for charge status are practical features that enhance the user experience. In terms of user-friendliness, the full coding to display battery levels on the camera is a highlight. It eliminates the nuisance of incompatible battery warnings, allowing the photographer to focus on the work at hand. The compatibility list is extensive, covering a wide range of Canon's DSLR and mirrorless lineup, which is excellent for those with multiple bodies in their gear. Performance-wise, the Powerextra batteries meet the demands of intensive shooting conditions. They hold up well during long video takes and bursts of still shots, as advertised. Their resilience in performance rivals that of the original Canon batteries, if not exceeds them in some cases due to the higher capacity. The design, while utilitarian, is solid and reassures durability. The protective features such as over-voltage and over-current protection are essential for longevity and safety, which are critical for any photographer's peace of mind. The value proposition is strong with these batteries. They offer more power at a price point that undercuts the OEM options without compromising on safety or compatibility—quite a feat. On the downside, the build quality, while sturdy, doesn’t quite match the finesse of Canon’s own batteries. Also, while not a deal-breaker, the lack of a premium feel might deter some buyers. Overall, the Powerextra LP-E6NH batteries are a commendable choice for Canon users looking for a reliable, high-capacity power source at a reasonable price. I'd recommend them to both professional and serious amateur photographers who require extended battery life for their shoots. The ideal user would be someone who prioritizes functionality and value over brand prestige. ... show more

  • Very good quality
You can never have too many camera batteries. Nothing like being out on a shoot and not having a battery that will last for the whole shoot or have a replacement battery when yours dies after a long day of videos. These batteries have the same quality if not better quality than the original OEM batteries. The battery life is great, I have never had a problem with the batteries not charging, holding a charge or dying prematurely. Very good quality. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that needs additional batteries and do not want to pay the $50+ for the OEM batteries. These work just as well. ... show more
