I purchased this to add an additional mic to a JYX karaoke machine as it only came with one. In fact, this is the mic they recommend to purchase. The problem is, the only way to control the volume is on the machine itself. This is a MAJOR issue due to the significant different sensitivity of the mic that comes with the machine. Basically, it is impossible to get both the mics to a reasonable volume because the default sensitivity is so much higher on this mic and the volume can only be controlled on the machine…which also controls the mic that comes with the machine. The solution would be to just turn up the volume on the mic that comes with the machine itself since it has that capability…but even at the highest volume on that mic (V 08), this mic is substantially louder. Build quality is solid, USB charging/rechargeable battery is super convenient, display is nice and bright, and the mic sounds fantastic. But the fact you cannot manually control the volume is (for me) a dealbreaker. ... show more
