These solar cables are very nice, 10awg, MC4 adapter, I have used these cables on multiple solar units (camper, and battery banks etc.) and also ran them from a 600 watt solar array flawlessly. Really great!

Fairly straight-forward item. Quality materials and quality assembly. I went with this 6-footer because that's what I needed, but it probably would have been smarter on my part to have purchased a longer length (more options regarding installation and better price per foot). These are a good choice if you need a short (6 feet) extension to plug in your solar panels. I use these to connect my 2 Ecoflow 100w each rigid solar panels to my Ecoflow Delta Max. The cables and connectors look and function like my other quality cables. Upon connecting my Delta Max shows a reading of 176w of input. That's about as good as I've gotten with any cables, so there is no loss of power with these cables. I think that says about everything I can at this point. I have no reason to expect these cables to last any different than my other cables, so I have to say I'm comfortable recommending them if they suit your length needs and fit your budget. Basic MC-4 extension cables; consider the wire cost per foot Summary: When it comes to extension cables, two rules of thumb: a) buy the best cables you can (be it quality or size), and b) run the shortest length you can get away with. Observations: These are sold in four lengths: 6, 10, 20 and 30 feet. If you estimate a pair of MC4 connector at $1/set, then the relative price per foot (which is how wire is sold) is respectively (and dividing by two for a the pair): 6ft ($1.17>1.25), 10ft ($1.05 > $0.95), 20ft ($0.78 > $0.80), and 30ft ($0.75 > $0.73). So if you need additional 10AWG wire for other projects, you might want to consider the longer lenghts. Pros: Good fit & finish; cable is clearly marked 1x6.0mm^2, which is equivalent to 10AWG; standard MC-4 connectors. Cons: Cost for the shorter runs is much more than comparible offerings. Conclusion: Rating the 20/30-ft at 5-stars, the 10-ft at 4-stars (based on cost per foot of wire), and the 6-ft at 3-stars (based on cost per foot of wire). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This are nice in that you can get them with the MC4 connectors already attached for a basic extension cord, or you can add them on later which is good when you need to put the wires thru a small opening or hole, such as I did putting them through my stucco exterior walls of my house with another pair I had bought. This is good when you do not want to drill a large hole. Connectors worked easily for me with or without a MC4 tool. They clipped together and locked as they are supposed to. These measured slightly longer at 6’ 4” Pros: • Pure copper (per description) • 10 AWG • Come with or without attached MC4 connector (see above paragraph) Cons • One thing you give up with a larger gauge is less flexibility and these are fairly stiff, as expected for a 10 gauge cable. • I noticed one place it says they are IP65 rated, and other areas said they are IP67 rated. The IP67 is a higher rating of waterproofing than the IP65. I thought all MC4 were IP67 rated so I think it is just a misprint or typo. Since these are just going to be used on occasion as an extension cord, it poses no problems for me ... show more

I will be installing the panels shown in my pictures, onto my roof. I wanted to do a test run with them on the ground first. The cables worked out great! I have the two panels connected in parallel, and the second panel with the extension will give me some room to optimally place the panel in a different location than the first.
