This item took several hours to put together. The packaging was damaged and so was the back edge of the top board. I was able to disguise it pretty well. The fireplace unit does not throw heat and I find the location of the heating element rather dangerous as it makes the fake wood very hot to the touch. Overall, at a distance it looks nice but quite cheap looking and feeling up close. If I could have returned it I would have, the size and weight of this item precluded that. ... show more

AWESOME!!! I was a slight bit nervous when I made this big order. My nervousness came from the possibility of missing or damage parts. Neither situation happened. Once I received it, I performed an inventory check and once all parts were confirmed to be there, I proceeded to assemble. It was put together within about 2.5 hours. It is absolutely beautiful in my home. The fireplace allows for me to not have to use my house heat. I would certainly order again ... show more

I was so happy with this product! It has nice quality parts and fairly easy to assemble. The white is more on the cream side which matched perfectly with my rug.
