Toy arrived fine! This has several wand accessories and attachments and my cats love them. The only difference with these wands is that there is not a wire or string separation from the wand itself. You have to be careful not to whack your cat in the head with the wand itself. I see this as a positive characteristic now because my cats tend to break the other type wands with fishing wire all the time. Another great thing about this toy product is that the toy attachments are totally different from the other wand toys which all are similar, meaning that your cat is already bored with them. We have played for hours the last two nights and I’ve only tried 3 of the attachments so far. Pricing is not bad, and the wands are sturdy and hold up great. I’m very pleased with this purchase and will buy it again should my cats wear these out in due time!

My favorite wand so far. But what made it over the top was adding a string with hinge clip and toy of course attached. I use strings from another brand I bought. Combined with spring makes it even more great for cat to chase and so much longer as well. The attachment toys are my cats favorite colorful shinny and realistic. I bought 4 or 5. I just opened the spring Pack of 4 they were all bad. I'd like to buy more but can't find them. I can make it work but the piece of wire sticks out and can hurt you. If you have a tool to cut it flush might be okay. I made a new toy tonight. I had other springs because I bought 4 or 5 of them. I made all kinds of different variation of things to chase. Long leather saude string buffalo and cow. Still the best of all wand.

You must attach a "springy end" to the rod in order to attach the sparkly toys. Unfortunately, 3 of the four spring-ends provided to me will not attach to the rod. That is because the end of the spring is bent in a way that obstructs the placement of the spring onto the rod. The metal is quite firm, and can't be bent using only your fingernails or a very tiny pliers. Instead, you likely need a tiny pliers to snip it off. My guess is the company heard the feedback about the spring falling off the end of the rod, and then tried to solve it using this approach, to make it adhere to the rod more strongly. But now, it won't even attach! If I could attach it, I would give five stars All of that said, ONE of the four springs DOES fit, and my cat just LOVES this toy! I share another reviewers concern that the end of the spring where the toy/lure actually attaches is quite small and could easily poke your cat in the eye if you are not careful.
