I ordered this because it looked nice in the listing, seemed to be something that would solve my problem, and could be delivered Prime. I will admit, I was very skeptical when I read the assembly instructions. BUT... they actually were accurate. It took about ten minutes and it looks FANTASTIC. And it folds easily and is lightweight enough to move quickly, easily, and safely. For the record, I wouldn't use this around young kids. It is VERY lightweight Even as toddlers, my kids would totally have knocked this down. For an adult household, or even one with older kids, it's fine. I followed the directions and got someone to help out. I probably could have completed the assembly myself, but the extra pair of hands not only made the job easier, but the entire thing was up and ready for use in less than ten minutes.

The manufacturer created a number of problems when made this screen shippable in a small carton. The screen comes in two sections, the top pieces hinged together and the bottom pieces hinged together. Perhaps the word “Assembly” menas something different in Chinese, but the it is up to the user to use the supplied hinges and screws to attach the top and bottom. There are total of 24 small screws that need to be secured, and this is definitely not a job for someone with dexterity issues. I pulled out my powered drill with a Philips screwdriver bit, but not everyone has one of these. And, once assembled , the hinges prevent the screen to be folded flat. All in all, not the best design. As a screen, i expect it to be adequate. It is translucent, so it can not create a dark space behind it. For our purposes, that is not an issue.
