My Cleveland Clinic home nurse gave me samples. Two days later there were obvious improvements to my wound. She advised to do once a day. Just pour it slowly into a bottle of water and shake well. Continue to shake while sipping it and you won't have a problem with it dissolving. My wound has been plaguing me for 15 years! Why it took so long for this product to be suggested is almost a crime! This stuff does so much more than wound-care. I've only been on it a few days but in that short amount of time I can already tell that it has helped my circulation. In particular I feel like it's helped the blood flow to my feet. I have an ulcer on my big toe that I've been dealing with for months which is what prompted me to order. I also feel like it has incredibly increased my energy; I no longer get that afternoon fatigue. I also feel like it has hydrated my eyes and my skin also looks more plump. I've only been able to take it once a day because anything more than that makes me jittery. Probably due to the vitamin B. The packets are also very large and I noticed that most of the posters do not mention this. Be prepared it's a very large packet, you can almost use half a packet a day if you wanted to cut cost. I really don't see how people drink two packets a day? But then again I'm small petite so that may be why. Vitamin B affects me and if you're sensitive to it I would not recommend taking two a day. If you want to dose two, take them early in the day otherwise they will keep you up at night. I've also noticed an increase in my mood not feeling quite so anxious. And lastly I feel like it might be helping my metabolism. I don't feel quite so hungry like I used to. I don't think it suppresses appetite, I think it just stabilizes the metabolism. So far, this has been an outstanding product. Yes it's expensive but the size of the packet makes it affordable. If you're on the fence about trying this, I would highly recommend it. The tropical punch is very good. I haven't tried the orange yet but I intend on trying it since I purchased the variety formula. Great product Ensure!!!

This is miracle-working stuff. I’ve bought it three times now for my mom, who is bedridden. Despite our best efforts to prevent them, she sometimes develops minor skin breakdown. One of her caregivers recommended Juven, and I’m so glad they did. I don’t know what magic is in this formula, but it works. If her skin starts breaking down, we give her this daily, and within about three days we see a marked improvement in healing. We’ve never let a wound get severe, so I can’t speak to its effects on major wounds, but for early-stage breakdown it’s been a game-changer. It's also easy to use, just mix with water or juice and you're done. This has become our go-to at the very first sign of a problem. I highly recommend it to anyone caring for a loved one with fragile skin who needs extra support for healing. It may seem a bit expensive but it’s worth every penny.

Wound healing is complex, For those of us at an increased risk of adverse outcomes, this is a potential option (speak with your physician/provider). We used this as a part of the ERAS protocol. Is it delicious? No. But that is not its purpose - this is "immunonutrition", not a refreshing beverage to sip on a warm summer day (sadly). Is it palatable? Absolutely and it's even "okay". - Orange has perhaps a bit more bitter than fruit punch, but both are fine - Using a small hand frother has been the best way to dissolve the powder in water and then just drink it down. I found it clumped when placed in a water bottle and shaken regardless of how vigorous I shook it. - I added a small serving of Stur coconut pineapple once - consider this/similar if the taste is too off-putting It is a bit expensive, however my RD had a discount code from the manufacturer as an option to help offset. Overall this has been an effective adjunct in wound healing.

this product has been a game changer in my healing process. I will say that it took me a few days to figure out the best way to drink it. If you mix it straight into a drink, it can be a little powdery tasting. It doesn’t dissolve quickly. what I did was, I started putting it in my drink and shaking it up and leaving it in the refrigerator overnight when I get up, I shake it again and then drink it and it’s a lot smoother. The flavors are not bad. I have the fruit and the orange taste like one of those drink packets that you would put in your water. The difference in my level of healing after I started drinking this has been significant. I had been about five weeks without seeing much healing from a surgical incision after I had taken this for a week, We started to see some progress and now I’m on week three of seeing progress in the healing of my incision. My goal was for my incision to heal without me having to have additional surgery and so far I’m on that path. Please make sure you discuss with your doctor before you start taking this.

I have not tried the other flavors, but I am glad I chose the pineapple coconut; it was great! Just as the instructions suggested, I added the powder to a glass with about 2 ounces of room temperature water and stirred well. Then I added about 7–8 ounces of COLD water, continued stirring for a couple of minutes until the powder was completely dissolved, and drank it right away. Now, two weeks has passed since my lower back surgery, laminectomy-bilateral, and I feel much better! I highly recommend this amazing product, Juven: The Nutrition Support for Wounds.
