This stuff does so much more than wound-care. I've only been on it a few days but in that short amount of time I can already tell that it has helped my circulation. In particular I feel like it's helped the blood flow to my feet. I have an ulcer on my big toe that I've been dealing with for months which is what prompted me to order. I also feel like it has incredibly increased my energy; I no longer get that afternoon fatigue. I also feel like it has hydrated my eyes and my skin also looks more plump. I've only been able to take it once a day because anything more than that makes me jittery. Probably due to the vitamin B. The packets are also very large and I noticed that most of the posters do not mention this. Be prepared it's a very large packet, you can almost use half a packet a day if you wanted to cut cost. I really don't see how people drink two packets a day? But then again I'm small petite so that may be why. Vitamin B affects me and if you're sensitive to it I would not recommend taking two a day. If you want to dose two, take them early in the day otherwise they will keep you up at night. I've also noticed an increase in my mood not feeling quite so anxious. And lastly I feel like it might be helping my metabolism. I don't feel quite so hungry like I used to. I don't think it suppresses appetite, I think it just stabilizes the metabolism. So far, this has been an outstanding product. Yes it's expensive but the size of the packet makes it affordable. If you're on the fence about trying this, I would highly recommend it. First of all, the people that are complaining about the flavor must be thinking this is a Starbucks refresher or something. It tastes normal and like a medical drink should. It’s really not bad. I put it in a glass with ice and I actually like the flavor. Just use ice water. I had a severe bout of colitis this month. I felt like death. I was scared. I wanted to start working on healing my gut. This really helped me recover and heal. I am buying it again and will always drink this. this product has been a game changer in my healing process. I will say that it took me a few days to figure out the best way to drink it. If you mix it straight into a drink, it can be a little powdery tasting. It doesn’t dissolve quickly. what I did was, I started putting it in my drink and shaking it up and leaving it in the refrigerator overnight when I get up, I shake it again and then drink it and it’s a lot smoother. The flavors are not bad. I have the fruit and the orange taste like one of those drink packets that you would put in your water. The difference in my level of healing after I started drinking this has been significant. I had been about five weeks without seeing much healing from a surgical incision after I had taken this for a week, We started to see some progress and now I’m on week three of seeing progress in the healing of my incision. I was recommended to drink this twice a day 7 days prior to tummy tuck surgery and for 14 days after. Let me set this up for you. Hip to hip incision which is roughly 14 INCHES long. Belly button recreated and healing from stitching. Muscles healing from being sewn back together. Drain tubes coming out of my hips for a week. Insane bruising on sides from liposuction. And when I say insane, imagine the most brutal, curb-stomping beating of a lifetime style bruising. I don't even know if I can share the pictures, but you can google it. It was scary when I saw myself in the mirror after. I bought the variety pack with orange and fruit punch. I didn't prefer one over the other honestly. The trick is to drink it with enough water, like a red Solo cup full. It's 'ok' like that, I just filled it up with room temp water, mixed it up, and chugged it. Twice a day. I would NOT suggest mixing the flavored varieties in anything. I tried the orange in a smoothie and it just overpowered all the flavors. Blech. If you plan on mixing with yogurt, ice cream, etc, get the plain powder. I'll be 2 weeks post-surgery tomorrow, and my bruising is almost entirely gone! I had my 2 week follow up the other day and the surgeon said I was healing ahead of schedule. I've been walking completely upright for about 4 days, off my pain meds, walking around 4k steps a day. I've taken this product for both of my last surgeries and I do have to say while the price is very high for my budget, it really works. I see the collagen working very well, even my nails begin to grow and stay strong. My healing process improves while I'm home recovering. The taste is great.
