I have a beautiful, large mat for my front door that has a harlequin border, orange background, and black cat on it. But, I needed another mat that could stand up to dogs, dirty shoes, and weather for the back door into our yard. This is perfect. I’m not a fan of coir at the front door because it’s so rough and it eventually deteriorates because the front is the side that gets pounded by weather. But coir at the back is great for keeping leaves from following everyone in and for wiping dirt off dog paws and shoes. Well, when I opened the box and saw the mat, I fell in love! It was even better and more whimsical than I expected. The colors really pop against our wood door and Tudor brick house. This is definitely a keeper and will make an appearance for many Octobers to come. ... show more

We decorate outside for Halloween every year, and I like to have a seasonal doormat as a finishing touch. My usual sources are out of stock or out of business or charging a ridiculous amount. I just happened upon this doormat and took a chance on it. It is vibrant, it is thick, it is reasonably priced, and it is just as cute as it can be! I wanted a Halloween mat for my front door. It matches all of my items I have in my front yard. I’m glad I purchased the it. After that remark, I hope it holds up. The mat loses a lot of the fibers.
