I put words on craft paper, that i had made, to glue runner on these pieces of wood! I placed the wood piece on the right size wood stake with a 3M Poster tab, then stuck the whole piece in a plant pot that had foam with moss on top. Pros: Inexpensive, good for wood burning practice or kids projects. Cons: Thin, narrow, and wood is very “soft”. I purchased this set of wood for practicing since I’m new to wood burning and didn’t want to practice on more expensive wood. The pieces are very thin and narrow, I wouldn’t use them for gifts or serious projects. However, if you’re just starting out wood burning they serve their purpose. ... show more

I bought these for a Halloween project and they worked great. They are sturdy little pieces. Initially I thought they would be bigger but I honestly didn't check the size when I bought them. I went soley based off the picture. All in all they are good and served their purpose for my project.

Very thin. Fell apart when they got wet. I was trying to use them to mount staghorn ferns. Would be better fot dry craft projects. Nice shapes.

The unfinished wood planks were transformed into a beautiful and simple Christmas decoration. My middle and high schoolers loved this Christmas project we did in our class. We used the unfinished wood planks that, at least to me, looked like a torn page from a book; and transformed them into a simple yet beautiful Christmas decoration. I printed a Bible verse of the account of Christ's birth and modge podged it onto the plank. These are very nice. I bought the to use as a kid's craft. We are making signs for their bedroom doors. We will paint them, but the finish is nice. They could be stained or just Mod Podged!

    • About the size of a dollar bill
Nice and a smooth, sanded finish, but about the size of a dollar. When the description said 7x3, somehow I imagined something the size of a "do not disturb" door hanger. They will work for what I need. I do wish they were an inch bigger though.
