I use this product in my TK (four-year-old) classroom. We use rhythm sticks to identify the downbeat in various songs and to emphasize patterns when we count. They are slightly shorter than sticks you would typically find in brick and mortar teaching supply stores, but can't be beat for the value! I would highly recommend these to ECE and primary teachers!

These little rhythm sticks are the perfect size for PK-3rd. I use these as “drumsticks” in my 1st-3rd music class. I have the larger sit spots so this keeps them separate enough to not accidentally hit a classmate. I use a misting spray bottle and 70% alcohol between classes to sanitize them with the flu epidemic here in the South. I noticed the students had color on their hands, and it was the sticks bleeding that hand sanitizer took the stains off of their skin without issue. I have longer sticks we use for actual technique, these will be going to PK and K next semester.

The rhythm sticks were a perfect size for circle time in my classroom. I am recommending that each classroom get a set. I was looking for rhythms sticks that were not to large. The students used them and the sticks were shorter in length and they did not come in contact with each other.
