While it never claims to be made by DEI, it does claim yo be "Titanium" which could throw people off. This product is your standard fiberglass exhaust wrap. It's not a bad product in anyway other than not being "Titanium" (which is not fiberglass but instead volcanic rock). I have installed the product and it goes on well. They give you plenty of the stainless metal retainer straps. You do not need the special tool for the straps, just pliers and screw driver. I did not wet the product first and it went on my Can Am Commander Exhaust nicely. I used the entire roll and it was just long enough to do the entire exhaust minus the muffler inlet. The box comes with nitrile gloves but you will probably want a couple extra pairs cause the rip easily as expected working on this type of stuff. Make sure you wear gloves though, even wearing gloves I hot fiberglass in my wrists, belly and between my fingers. The itch hung around for a couple days. So like I said, good product, just wish it didn't try selling itself as something it's not.

My leg sure appreciated this tape. It's not burning up anymore. I did have to use extra zip clamps because it ripped where my foot occasionally hits the pipe when I'm kick starting. But it did cool the area down greatly
