My two dogs love this food. It comes either frozen in packs or ready to serve in small cartons. It has no unpleasant smell and comes in several different choices - lamb, turkey, beef or chicken and vegetables. Really excellent (and my vet buys it for her dogs)!

    • Each little box is 1/2- one meal for a large dog-- so it quite expensive.

I ended up feeding this to my small dog as I cannot afford it for my 70+ pounders. The little one likes it, but I wonder at the amount of fat in it. There seems to be a great deal of fat that is solid at fridge temps. The box is a bit difficult to get all the food out of and given the price, I tried to us every bit from each box. I decided it is not something I can sustain as a regular meal for my dogs. I will buy now and then as a treat or supplement. For price and quality combined, I prefer Honest Kitchen dehydrated which also uses human grade, organic ingredients. ... show more

My dogs love this food. I gave it 4 stars due to the packaging. It is messy trying to spoon the food out of the container. I have it all over my hands trying to dig a spoon into the bottom of the container.

I love to take my dogs on long day trips . Mostly hiking and stopping to meditate or read. They normally eat the fresh-frozen version of this food which is impossible to bring with me without having a heavy cooler. Now I can just throw one of these in my bag and we are on our way. same great product just self stable. ... show more

This food smelled ok but just the sight of it was a turnoff. On the package it looks like hamburger with potatoes, but the actual food looks like something my dog threw up. Bottom line my dog took one look, backed up and turned away like I gave him something awful. Would not touch it. So maybe some dogs ill eat it but mine won't and he is a puppy, eats almost anything. Sorry but won't buy it again. Kinda spendy if you wanted to feed your dog only that. ... show more
