I absolutely love thid product. After thawing it and serving it, you can visibly see the nutrients and the fact that it is human grade food. It looks like food I would eat for lunch😂. I mix it with kibble since we still are on a budget, however my dog loves it!! She gets a cup of this food and a cup of kibble per meal, and she destroys the wet food before touching the kibble. Its also super easy to use in a slow feeder or puzzle feeder! My dog loves this meal. She is keeping her weight in check. Much more energy. Not a fan of the 2 that have macaroni in them. It is at the bottom of the carton and it is hard. Not mixed up. The chicken, rice & veggies she likes and beef, potatoes, & veggies too. I also make rice & I buy (flash frozen)peas & carrots, cook the bag up on stove. I add about 1/3-1/2 cup of each in her bowl with warm water and 1/3-1/2 of carton food, mix it up and she munches it down. 2X per day. I love how the food came frozen, but fresh and packaged in an insulated box. I like to incorporate fresh food for Cowboy every once in a while and the rice and chicken meal is perfect to scoop on top of his normal food!

    • Dog got very ill
Flavor Name: Venison & Squash Size: 18 oz (Pack of 7)
I gave this food as suggested replacing two tablespoons of food per every four days. This has been the only change in feeding for my dog. At 2:30 am on the 7th day of my Dog eating this food she started to vomit. By 9 am after vomiting again I took her to an emergency veterinary appt. She had 3 imagines X-rays, bloodwork for everything from parasites to other pathogens. Her intestines were so inflamed and we are on day 6 and she has been to the veterinary two times to get relief. She is currently on anti nausea drugs, a liquid probiotic, pills for reflux and on a prescription dog food after eating four day of boiled chicken breast and rice. The discomfort this has caused my dog is immense. She had five days of mucus in her poop and finally today has just soft poop. This has cost me over $2,400 since her appts were emergencies. It makes me so angry that when I read reviews they were mostly how wonderful this food is for their pet. When I told the vet we only changed one thing he said it is the venison and you need to warn others. Hopefully this review is one of the first people see. I now have read several other reviews and feel so foolish that I put my dog in such a horrible health crisis! Never again will I purchase a “healthy” dog food. Make your own and stick with whatever your veterinary doctor recommends. ... show more

I can’t tell you how much my dog loved this food! She is a very picky eater and I have a hard time getting her to eat anything and I can attest that I didn’t even have the package open and she was trying to eat it . She ate everything on her plate and wanted more actually! The ingredients are fresh and all natural and it honestly looks like food that we ourselves would eat. Have been feeding him kibble his entire life but as he ages (and as new products come out) it’s been important to feed him products that are human grade and full of nutrients to ensure we get the most time with him! Follow the instructions that come with product for serving and size suggestions!
