I love these shorts. Ther are very comfortable. I purchased 2 sizes a 2X and a 3X. I am 5'4" and weigh 246, so I'm a big girl. The 2X pair fit, but they were snugger than I like. The 3X were roomier. Those are the ones I kept. So I think they run small. The site recommended I buy the 2X. The fabric is silky and soft to the touch. I like the wide elastic waistband. No bothering with buttons and zippers. The pockets are shallow though, that I don't like. You will have a hard time putting your cell phone in them. I wish they came in more colors though. I LOVE these shorts! Extremely comfortable, stretchy fabric... Fit me perfectly. I normally wear denim shorts, have forever, but these have made me re-think my wardrobe! Since denim shorts have become so expensive, the little thrifty lady who lives in my mind loves the price & convinced me try them.. I originally bought these for cleaning, yard work, etc where I might stain up my denim shorts, but after wearing these, I've decided to buy many pairs for everyday shorts! They'd actually be fine for running errands, too! They're sharp looking shorts! The thick waistband, sits right at my waist, not necessarily in style, but I love it! I'm an older lady & still like my shorts/jeans, etc to sit at my waistline. I rarely tuck my shirts in anymore, but a tucked in shirt would look nice with the thick waistband. No puckering around the elastic give these shorts a nice look, no need to hide it. Long story short, I love these and will buy lots more and will wear them almost daily!! Lots of colors available, too! The picture of the model shows the shorts to fit right at the knee, but they're shorter than that on me. I'm long legged & they fit just right, at mid-thigh. The inseam length is 7", perfect for us "mature" ladies... (To help you with sizing... I'm 5'7" tall & I'm a bit over weight, weighing in at 200. I'm carrying most of my extra pounds in my waist and butt. UGH! Can't believe I'm saying all this, lol, but hate it when reviews don't tell you what you need to know, so I'll be honest... I bought mine in 1X and they fit me PERFECTLY!! Just buy according to the size chart, or your normal size & you'll be fine! I'm 5'7 and 250. The size chart recommended size 3x. The shorts were too big. I recommend that you down-size unless you are truly sure of your size. I wish they had a drawstring. However, the material is soft and of good quality. There are side pockets which is a good thing.

I love these shorts. I have thick thighs and a large rear end, but a smaller waist. I have tried dozens of pears of comfortable, cotton shorts and these are the best. Waste that fits (I hate drawstring). A little bit of stretch, but they don’t stretch out and look dumpy. And the slit in the side of the legs makes them fit nicely. They’re a little shorter than I would normally like, but they definitely stay cool in a hot tech summer . They don’t ride up when you walk. The fabric weight is excellent- A little bit dense, but not suffocatingly hot After my first pair, I ordered four more. The dark colors might fade- but for a casual summer short, that is OK with me! ... show more
