Well, I absolutely didn't need this purse...but I'm really glad I ordered it (especially since the price went up about a dollar). I thought it would be useful on those rare occasions I decide not take more stuff than I actually will use (because, I MIGHT need it). The dimensions in the listing is accurate, but does not really reflect how roomy the purse actually is. There's more than enough room for my cell phone, keys, credit card case, inhaler, pill case, travel planner/calendar, pens, makeup,etc. Since I did order some larger purses at the same time I ordered this one, I probably will not pack it as full as I COULD, but use it for times when I really buckle down and take the actual necessities. After all, a trip to the store to pick up a couple of things does not mean I need to bring enough makeup to do my entire face --like I'm going to re-do it in the middle of Walmart, right? It will be easy to organize things though since the purse is divided into two zippered compartments--something unusual for a purse of this type. I probably will use this purse more than I originallly planned because it is SO cute! The machine embroidery is done beautifully with vivid and silky thread (I ordered the one with the blue flowers). on BOTH sides as advertised. The wooden beads on the straps add a nice touch and are fastened in place so they won't be sliding around everywhere. The bag is meant to be carried by the handle--it is a handbag after all--but I can actually slip it over my shoulder and carry it tucked comfortably under my arm (which I probably won't do unless I need both hands free). I'm pretty chubby but only around 5'2" . I'm seriously considering purchasing other bags in this line. One thing I do want to mention. The listing calls this a " travel beach bag". Uh, no... This is made from medium weight canvas. I can't imagine taking this to anywhere it will get really wet, much less having to sit in wet sand! Unless you pack really, reallly light (like you only need a change of underwear), I wouldn't consider this as a "travel" tote either. The purse is completely lined inside with black fabric (possibly nylon), which is the kind that might eventually rip (especially if you put anything sharp in it). However, I've stitched up more than one lining hole in my life, so I expect to keep this bag for a long time. For under $10 (current price may be different), I can't be more pleased. ... show more

I love the purse and have gotten lots of compliments because it's so beautiful but the strap broke a couple days ago. I don't even carry it by this. I just happened to grab it and it came apart. I manage to put it back together and it came off again today, so now i have to get gorilla glue to put down inside it, so it will stay for good, hopefully. I think the screw that holds the strap on should be a lot better and wider on the outside. That would eliminate it coming apart. ... show more

This is big enough for powder, lipstick, pads, wallet , etc. a woman carries with her . It has two compartments which is very nice! I love the embroidery on both sides. Could care less it’s not hand made. Still beautiful. There will b stray threads just nip them off easy peasy. This is not a bag for laptops, tablets nope just a big enough purse for most who don’t carry alot but still need something. So if big purses are your thing this isnt what you want. If you want a cute, smallish purse with a eye popping design I think its a good choice. I love everything about it. I’m a tad worried about the handles most of my purses/bags are loungefly so it’s something different. For the price though I an willing to give it a chance.
