- Instructions for Use: 1Connect the red clip to the positive terminal (+) of the car, insert the battery into the adapter and ensure it is securely locked, then connect the black clip to the negative terminal of the car. 2Turn the key or use the start button to start the car, with the ignition time not exceeding 2 seconds. 3If the car fails to start, do not immediately attempt to restart. Wait a few minutes to allow the tool battery to charge the car battery, and then try again. 4Once the car starts, immediately remove the tool battery.
- Important Notes: 1Please keep the cars ignition time between 1-2 seconds; otherwise, long time excessive current may risk damaging the tool battery. 2Batteries with larger capacities can provide greater starting currents, enabling the starting of cars with larger displacements. 3It is not recommended for starting high-displacement diesel engines, as the tool battery may not be able to handle the extremely high currents required for starting. 4This jump cable does not convert or reduce voltage. It simply provides an additional option for starting the car in emergency situations.

These are awesome. BEWARE I did kill a 5a dewalt battery from using it a couple times with a not fully charged battery. I love been using my 6a battery no more 2 times on a full charge and it’s been great. I don’t think I’d use it on my 2020 explorer cause of how many computers it has but I’ve been using it on my 2012 Mazda and it jumps a dead battery immediately. Mazda did trip code one time for voltage to high but it is a 20v battery on a 12v system. But I’ve used it a least 20 times on my car and a couple on ours and it’s been great

I have been reluctant to use this only because it doesn't step the voltage down . There is a full 19.8. Volts to the battery , most cars do not like over 15 volts. The quality of it is good.

I bought this because I have DeWalt batteries and I'm a witness that a car can be started with a DeWalt battery although I haven't had a dead battery to try it on, I know it will work.

First test: I used this jumper cable with a 6.0ah M18 battery to jump start a 1997 Jeep with the 4.0L gas engine. Worked great - the Jeep started right up! Second test: I used this jumper cable with the same 6.0ah M18 battery to jump start a Cummins 4BTA 3.9L diesel engine. As soon as the starter engaged and it attempted to start, magic smoke came out of the Milwaukee battery and the cables got very hot. Now the battery is trash, the cables are suspect, and the Cummins still isn't started. I don't know that I would recommend this for anything other than an emergency last-resort item because it's likely going to trash your battery, as it has no on-board battery management circuitry like a normal Milwaukee tool does.
