I jump started a VERY dead battery on my power wagon that has a very large battery. I used a 8.0 forge because it can handle heat loads better. Within seconds my truck was running. The battery was so dead I had to leave it on the battery for about 30 seconds until the truck could fend for itself. That process used up about half of the 8.0’s usage. Nothing overheated or felt warm. This isn’t the greatest build but ll works well and is cost effective. Fully recommend

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!! It has smoked two brand new batteries! Shame on me for trying a second time, I thought if I had hooked up the battery after connecting the wires I would have a different result. It did in fact start the car, however the battery is toast and will not recharge now that it was used to start the car.
