Same people who make the best pies make the best protein powder. Got this as a recommendation for a recipe off a keto site and didn't associate the name at all with the town in inland san diego where the pies are made. Turns out the same place is good at 2 things! This is ha ds down the best protein powder and from a solid protein source thats low carb and fluffy in texture. Doesn't taste too dense or "bone brothy" like many keto friendly protein powder do. Perfect for smoothies and protein shakes and digests easily with all your macros for those of us who have a hard time there.

I have tried so many different proteins, I was never satisfied as I try and eat as clean as possible, all the other protein I have tried stated to be clean but had some other ingredients I didn't want! I am very sensitive to additives, dairy and chemicals. This has NO whey, NO guar gums, No cellulose or XYLITOL! Thank you Julian bakery!! This product is AMAZING, it really is a CLEAN protein. Its just Egg whites and that is it! I can honestly say it is actually very satisfying with no side effects of upset stomach or bloating. The eggs are GMO free and the price is on point. I mix this with coconut water and its delicious! I also use this in paleo pancakes and my smoothies! I find my appetite is different and with the added protein to my diet I do not crave sweets like I did before, this is such a great way to get in the added protein after a heavy lifting day at the gym or just a snack in between meals. I love this stuff!!!!!!!!!

I like this product because it is squeaky clean. I was on a strict diet and was looking for protein powder without artificial flavors, soy, sweeteners, or weird ingredients. I also needed something without vitamin supplements added because of interference with a medication I'm on. This one was perfect at a reasonable price. However, this powder tastes sooooooooo bad with just water. First time made me gag. I think if you use it with something like almond milk, honey, or use it as base for smoothies it will be fine. But by itself it tasted awful, hard to describe. My diet is no dairy, no sugar or sweetener of any kind, so I couldn't supplement it in anyway. I drink it with as little water as I can and gulp it down quickly (with a glass of water to chug after). I find that adding a teaspoon of 100% cacao powder helps. Once I finish the bag/off my diet I will definitely try other flavors! Overall it seems the brand makes clean, decent protein powder.

I recently tried another egg protein and was really pleased, but decided I wanted an unflavored type on hand as well. I can't even begin to tell you how great this stuff is. It's a good value and allows the flavor of my smoothie to shine. Sometimes, like when I make one with lots of greens, I want to improve the flavor with a flavored powder, but when I'm purposely making a tasty one, like my latest, an apple pie smoothie (yum), I want an unflavored additive. Well, this powder not only allows the flavor of my smoothie to come through as I intended, it adds lots of creamy froth that enhances the drink. The other egg protein didn't do that. Not only is my smoothie delicious and high protein, its texture is wonderful. It's almost like drinking a shake with whipped cream on top. It feels wildly decadent for a healthy drink. I'm not complaining :).

Review for Blueberry + Chocolate Grass-fed beef I like the egg white unflavored protein. It does it's job. It takes on added flavors. It gets out of the way. The blueberry egg white and chocolate beef are both disgusting in their own way. The blueberry is sweet and has a chalky flavor to add to its generally chalky mouth feel. It's difficult to stir and has blue pebbles that consistently passes through a gullet with unrequested fanfare. The flavor and texture are inseparable and arouse images of nutra-sweet sugar caddies being lifted off a diner table and slam-dunked into an unsuspecting mid-sentence mouth. The chocolate beef hides it's beefiness quite well. Like a wolf nestled deep in a compost pile to avoid detection, it's origins would remain unknown to the uninitiated. The trade-off is, well, compost. Sugary sweet and seemingly well aged, the ground hangar steak seems to steam with a saccharine umami once resting in your body. Which is all generally unnoticeable unless burping. But you will be burping. Again, all praise to the egg white unflavored. She's one of the good ones.

I have been looking for this product for years. "Back in the day" egg white protein was the standard to which all protein was compared. Now Whey Isolate it the bomb. I take whey directly after my weight lifting but it kills my appetite. I use this product when I want high quality protein and still want to be able to eat. This product will not stunt your hunger, even directly after drinking it you will still be able to eat. If you want a meal replacement protein this is not your product. Bag is strong enough, product mixes well in a shaker and does not hang up on the sides, cleans up easily and the taste is not offensive. Kinda almost no taste so if you wanted to blend in some fruit it will take on the flavor big time. There are no unhealthy ingredients on the label. A certification for no heavy metals would be a plus. Buy it you will be satisfied.

This stuff does not taste great and it becomes kinda slimy when rehydrated, but it is dried egg whites, so I'm not surprised. I am allergic to dairy, soy, and other beans, so I am just grateful to have found a protein powder I can actually eat. I mix this 50/50 with hemp protein powder. The hemp stuff is the opposite - kind of grainy and tastes like a mix of grass and dirt on it's own. But when you mix the two together they magically cancel each other out and I wind up with a protein powder that doesn't negatively affect the taste or texture of my smoothies. I still give it 5 stars despite the flavor and texture, because it is what it is - literally dried egg whites and nothing else, so I can't really complain.

I have been using this brand of egg white protein powder for several years and would normally give it a 5 star. However, the last one I received is now noticeably less dissolvable with a lot of clumping. I am wondering if due to the price of eggs they are now using more fillers and less egg protein. UPDATE: I am updating this review from 3 to 5 stars based on customer service. A few days after posting this review the seller contacted me and offered a full refund and explanation. I will continue to use this regularly as I have been for a few years now. They take care of their customers if there are any issues.
