I am in my mid-70s and have fallen in love this stick! I've tried others, some twice the price but found Julep to be the best for coverage, color choices, and longevity with the added bonus of being so much more moisurizing than powders . I feel like I have to use makeup to try to obsure all the wrinkles and discoloration, so I first used it, as intended, as cheek blush but soon found it works great as a lipstick. I now always have at least one in both my makeup drawer and my purse. If I need more coverage, I have found additional colors can also act as a bronzer, or for highlighting, or for contouring. Since it truly can act as an all-in-one, it is perfect for for traveling. I'm giving my favorite, mauve, to several friends for Christmas.

I love Julep's cream stick eyeshadows and so I thought I'd try the cream stick blush. The cream blush is nice quality and color is great. My only disappointment is that, unlike the Julep cream shadow sticks, there is no foam/brush applicator to help smooth the blush on the skin. I either have to dirty my fingers or purchase separate foam applicators. I also wish the top of the stick was flat rather than rounded as the round tip leaves a fairly thin stroke, requiring even more blending. Nevertheless, I like the quality and color of the blush.

Lovely color, but 2 things: 1. It’s a tad difficult to spread on my cheeks. But I’m not going to hold it against the formula or the manufacturer because I understand it can’t be too creamy, otherwise it’ll fade easily. But it’s something I should have considered when I ordered this. Also, I use a lot of sunscreen, so I don’t want to mess up with the “construction” of the layers of skincare, sunscreen and make up, lol. So this is just a ME problem. If you’re like me and have to use layers and layers of crap on your face, this is something to be considered. If you don’t wear too much makeup, then I think this would be a great addition. 2. The golden hue is not a good look on my lips. Again, nothing against the formula or the brand, it’s just that I’m a Latina and get a lot of sun exposure, so I’m rather tan. I don’t like lipsticks with golden anything. This is the only reason I’m deducting a star.

Huge Julep fan, first time using the blush stick. I got the Rose Gold color. I'm a white, medium fair skin with red undertones, and this color is barely visible on my skin. It has some shine (not sparkle), and gives a slight sun-toned look, but was hoping for a little more color. That being said, the quality is great and blends really well. I'd buy again, but I'd try a different color for my skin!
