Wow! That’s how I’ll start this review off. These (I bought 2, then immediately purchased 2 more shades) shadows are so easy to apply. The color is deep and shimmery, easy to work with and blend. Once applied it stays put too, no creeping away from the eye area. I even rubbed my eye at one point- it didn’t transfer to my hand. And when I checked my look in a mirror- expecting to see my shadow blurred or removed- it wasn’t. All looked as if I had just applied it. Please also note that it is super easy to remove when you’re ready to go to bed, a little make up remover and you’re all done. I Love this product- lasts for hours and all the color choices too! Great eyeshadow! I purchased several different colors, needless to say all but one of them was a color that I could wear. The shadow itself is great though, goes on easily enough and the built-in smudger in the opposite end of the stick is nice. I personally love the PUTTY shade which looks nice as long as I apply it lightly. It lasts all day and into the evening! When you find the shade or shades that work for you, stock up if you can so you don’t risk having to wait for the order to come or worse….. I have seen many companies that discontinue products without notice and then you can’t get it at all! This one is definitely worth the money! ... show more

I am impressed with the Julep Eyeshadow Cream to Powder Waterproof Shadow sticks. I have tried other brands and they do not glide on as smoothly or have the rich color of the Julep brand. As a mature woman, I appreciate that the product does not settle in wrinkles but glides over making a smooth looking lid. I also find them so easy to travel with and they don't take up much space in my make up bag, no brush or applicator needed! I've bought other Julep products (tinted lip balm and under eye concealer) and liked them, but this product is the best one yet! This eyeshadow goes on easily, blends nicely, and lasts all day. It's a really nice texture- not dry or sticky. After 12-hour days it does get into eyelid creases a little, but almost any product would...a swipe of the pinky is all it takes to re-distribute it. Color: 18 Rose Shimmer
I purchased the Rose Shimmer & Champagne colors. I read mixed reviews for the rose color being more of a copper/penny/rose gold, but gambled and got it anyway because the stock photos showed otherwise. We'll - I got the batch that looks like copper. My skin can't handle orange undertones and unfortunately this color is not for me, even though I still think it's beautiful! If I had more tan or olive skin - this is the perfect summer warm bronzer glow look. (I did wait to see if the color changed with oxidation and it stays true to color throughout the day.) The Champagne color is as described and gorgeous! They truly glide on so creamy, but feel like a powder once it's set. Careful when you blend - I found the product wipes off really easily when trying to blend. Unfortunately I may be allergic to something in these though because they made my lids swell. (I am hyper sensative to everything, so don't let that scare you from trying them.) Because they do rub off easily and slightly sit in the crease after a while, I find the sale value of $12 fine for how beautiful they look. This eyeshadow stick goes on smoothly and is really easy to blend, making it great for quick, everyday looks. The color payoff is nice, and it sets to a powder finish that stays in place.
