I bought this moisturizer to supplement my night cream. I just really needed something to help hydrate my skin. This moisturizer has done the trick and I sometimes use it during the day under my Juice Beauty CC Cream. My only "gripe" if I were to have one is that it is very thin so it pours out of the squeeze bottle more than I want it to. Now that I know it does that, I've figured out how to use it without using too much product (more than I need).

I bought this product at Whole Foods and it was great for my skin. A light, nice semi-floral scent with a thick consistency (which some reviewers do not like.) I personally liked this consistency. When I ordered it here, it had a petroleum-like smell and was super runny. It did not absorb the same AT ALL. I can feel it on my skin like a little layer. The other stuff, for as thick as it was, seemed to absorb and be unnoticeable. I can feel this product on my skin hours later as if it were greasy. I don't know what's going on at manufacturing where they are getting the same exact product to have wildly different textures/consistencies and scents. Makes no sense. Its a gamble, folks. I'm going to use this bottle up and move on, which stink since I REALLY liked the first round of this moisturizer. Oh well.

I have sensitive combination skin. My skin will turn blotchy red and/or breakout at the drop of a hat. However, this gel moisturizer is light and calming and solves all that. There is a very slight tingle when I first put it on, like very, very, very mild icy-hot (probably from the cinnamon camphora listed as the very last ingredient), but it ultimately leaves my skin cool, calm and perfectly balanced by moisturizing my dry cheeks and seemingly controlling the oily skin of my T-zone. If I had my way, I might leave out the camphor, but it is a minor thing and everything else about this moisturizer is so great, from the lightness of the gel to the way it perfectly balances my combination skin, that I still love it. And it is great that it is 95% organic, nautral juice base!

I loveeed this product and have been using it for years. Since April 2020 I noticed the consistency and smell changed, I thought maybe it was a bad batch but when I bought another bottle, and my sister gifted me one (literally its the only product I use) both of those bottles were thicker and smelly as well. I gave up on the product and had some trial and errors with new natural products, but recently decided to give it a go again, sure enough this bottle is also thicker with an odd smell. Has anyone else noticed this? I used to be able to spread a dime size amount and cover my face and then some but now it is just thick with a yellow tinge and weird smell. So sad.

I have struggled with redness for years and somewhat combated it with Clinique, Estee Lauder and Aveeno moisturizers. About a year ago, I started experiencing adult acne (in addition to the redness). I actually made an appointment with a dermatologist but before the appointment, I happened to receive a sample of Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer in my monthly Birchbox. After three days use there was a noticeable difference so I canceled my appointment and never looked back! Just FYI, my skin type is oily.
