I haven’t used a sewing machine since junior high home ec, and that was over 50 years ago! There was a craft project I really wanted to do but it required a sewing machine. I wanted one that a novice could use without too much learning, was small and lightweight. After looking through the reviews I decided on this one. I’m glad I did. I looked it over to familiarize myself with where everything was, read the instructions, and started sewing. It offers many automatic stitches, from straight to zigzag. Comes with the bobbin already threaded. Of course just starting out my “straight” stitch wasn’t exactly straight but it got better with a little practice. In addition to the craft project I’ve done a few hems. I’m finding it fun and have a feeling of accomplishment! I recommend it for kids and anyone else that’s giving sewing a try for the first time.

This was a gift for our 9 year old. It comes prepared and ready to be used. The instructions are easy to understand and the machine is a great compact size for a sewing machine. We personally love all ofbthe different stitch options and usability! We highly recommend this product.

I love how portable and easy to use this sewing machine was. I’m a beginner and I saw 1 instructional video of how to start the thread on the machine and it’s been easy to use every since. The guide on the machine is helpful in case I forget how to loop the thread. I like how it has different modes and settings for doing a reverse stitch. I’ve enjoyed using this machine so far for my scrapbooking and sewing projects!

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter to learn to sew on. It is very easy to use so it is great for a beginner. It is small but perfect for her. She has already made a tote bag and pillow and it has inspired her to create things on her own. Now she wants to be a fashion designer!!
