This watch is amazing! My son is 10 years old, and in the 4th grade. We live in a good neighborhood, but it is close to a busy main road but set back a little bit, and we are near a fairly popular baseball field that gets a little bit of traffic on weekdays, but more on weekends. So there are cars going by fairly often, but not crazy. My son loves to play outside with his friends in the neighborhood and ride bikes, play soccer, run around and go to the park down the street with them. They also go from friend house to friend house too. And I love that he is active and always wants to be outside playing, but I hate that I don't always know where he is or what he is doing. My son is too young for a cell phone, even though he has asked, but he doesn't need one, he is 10! Besides I know he would either lose it or break it. I also wanted the peace of mind to know where he is, when they are all outside running around and playing. So I looked up smart watches for kids and this one came up as the best one for elementary school/younger kids and middle school. It is basic, which I wanted, he doesn't need it to be a toy, I just wanted a GPS, a texting app and something to make quick check in calls with. And it needs to be easy for him and it needs to work... And this is Perfect! I just open the app on my phone and refresh location and I will know exactly where he is, you can also live track him if he is walking home from a friend's house, or school. I can text him to tell him to come in for dinner, or he can call me when he is on the way home or if he needs anything! It makes him feel safe and it makes me feel so much better about him being out with his friends and running around the neighborhood! It does have a few basic apps but there isn't much too it. You can control the settings from the app on your cell, and add in approved phone numbers, check his texts and do all the GPS functions. It also has "school mode" for when he is at school so he can't mess with it and get distracted. The only slightly negative thing I can say, is that it does take a while for it to charge all the way, and the charger is a magnetic thing that sticks to the back of the watch rather than a basic USB-C charger, so it can shift off easily and stop charging, but it's fine because I figured out where to put it so it doesnt get touched. I do wish the battery lasted a little bit longer, but it does last a day or 2 depending on use. So as long as I charge it, it's fine. The monthly plan is like $12 or $14 a month which is great (I just paid for the year up front) and it is through their own service provider which I haven't had any problems with reception with so far. There are instructions on how to set it all up in the box, and it was so easy to do. All in all I am so so happy that I bought this, it calms my anxiety when he is out and just gives me so much peace of mind, and he likes it because he can go further than he could before and stay out longer because he doesn't have to keep checking in. I definitely recommend getting this for your kids too. It's the best thing I bought all year!

I bought the Cosmo after purchasing a similar product that did not work out - couldn't get the device to activate and the support was extremely slow and useless (sent me emails in another language). In the time it took for their support to get back to me I had already purchased, received and activated the Cosmo watch. The fast delivery and ease of setup was reassuring. My 6-year-old son was quick to learn how to use it and the device gave me peace of mind that I have a way to connect with him when needed. I was worried that it would be too bulky for him because he is very slim, but the fit is perfect. The voice connection is spotty at times - but we mainly use it for location tracking, and he likes using the pre-populated text. About 3.5 months into using the device it stopped charging/working altogether. I contacted support and they asked me to upload a video confirming that the device would not power up. Upon affirming this, they agreed to ship me a whole new device which arrived within a few days. Transferring the service was easy and the support people were quick and responsive. I was initially hesitant on purchasing this device because I didn't want my son to have apps or games to get sucked into. It is super easy to manage what I want him to have access to from the parent app on my phone. Apps will not display unless you give permission, and you can add permission limits. I am very satisfied with my purchase and confident knowing I have support when needed.

We currently have two Jr tracks. Our son has the three and our daughter has the four. We wanted something that they could communicate with us on without having all of the distractions and access that a cell phone brings. The GPS tracker is also a nice feature to have. There could be a few improvements but overall the watch does the job. Improvements I would like to see would include extended battery life, in order to conserve battery we pretty much had to shut down the GPS limit the GPS use so that the watch would last into the evening. The four definitely has a better life compared to the three. I have not used the video chat feature much. However, the voice notes aren't always very clear depending on the activity the child is doing. We primarily use it as a texting feature. Our kids biggest gripe is that sometimes they do not receive messages in a timely fashion even when we turn off school mode. Sometimes they do not receive a message for an hour or two when they are at school which can be problematic as we also use them for changing end of the day plans. Setting alarms is easy and so far they have proven to not be too much of a distraction at school and have not been taken away like the cell phones have. They also like the capability of having the apps now the way they really haven't used or explored those much due to concerns about battery life.

I bought a watch for my kid from another brand, but was so frustrated in the limited features and difficulty setting it up that I returned it. I had none of those issues with the JrTrack! This watch looks more "grown-up" vs the childish look of many of the other alternatives for kids, which my 11 year old appreciates. He also loves the little games. It is so easy to set up the contacts which I appreciate. We live in an area with iffy cell service, but haven't had any issues with the connectivity. I would love if the watch was a bit faster as it would make texting easier. Also, the battery only lasts about a day, but it is quick to charge so once we got into the habit of charging at night, it wasn't an issue. I definitely recommend this for parents who want a way to communicate with their child for safety, but also don't want to worry about who may try to call their child. I also like that I don't have to worry about my kid having unrestricted access to the internet on yet another smart device.
