    • Use for Temp Fuel Tank.
I own, buy and constantly work on classic cars. Some have not been run in decades. In most cases, gas tanks, hoses, filters are so clogged with bad gas, it's not worth draining. I use these small tanks as a temporary fuel tank to start the cars, move them in and out of the garage etc. This one is a little on the small side but still works well. On a 1972 Mustang convertible w/ 302 V8 2 barrel carb, this small take lets the var idle in the driveway for appx 10 minutes. Which is perfect to "fire it up" and let it run a bit. ... show more

    • JRL Mini Bike Gas Tank used for my 79cc go kart
Tired of fighting the tank rust. The tank is good quality but rough on the edges. Trimmed and sanded down the top of cap screw, down spout and sides. I put some hot glue on the inside of the cap ring to help hold it in place. Even still I would tighten the cap to only 1/2 turn to secure.

The fuel tank built into the frame of my moped was very rusty. This tiny little tank (Holds about a quart and a half) was perfect to make fit on top of it. Lightweight and 2 mounting points, easy to make a bracket for a permanent install. I wish the fuel cap was properly vented, it has a hole drilled in the center instead. I have to be vigilant about keeping it inside when it rains. But for the price and functionality, five stars. ... show more

Using this as a spare gas can to fit in my fishing container. I put a fuel tube from the bottom spout to the top of the gas cap. Put a small zip tie to the tube and mounting hole. No leaks or smell.

Cool little tank I used for my minibike, purchased some clear fuel line and fuel filter to hook up to the little tank, only problem is the gasket in the fuel tank cap melts and turns to mush from the gas within just a couple days. I saw all these black goop pieces going down my fuel line and all in the filter so had to drain gas and clean everything out. If you purchase this tank just replace that fuel cap gasket cause it will do the same thing. Read that from another person before I purchased it and thought he just got a bad gasket but nope all do it so just remove or replace it. ... show more

Sheerness? lol what is that? It's a small tank, but works for what I needed. (a minibike) I had to fabricate mounts, but you can't beat the price, and you can see at a glance how much fuel is in the tank.
