Fit on my TaoTao 49cc moped great. Nothing wrong, works great. But discovered my actual problem was my vacuum line and not my carb. But wanted to say it is still great and I left it on in the end.     • Brought a scooter from the grave after years of sitting.
I had bought a used 2020 Tao Tao Pony 50. It was sitting in someone's backyard for a few years. The old carb I had was junk. This one bolted right on and it literally starts every time as long as I have good battery. Just something to mention, regarding the vacuum lines. THIS CARB DOES NOT NEED A VACUUM LINE CONNECTED TO IT! If you are replacing a carb with multiple vacuum lines, plug the valve vacuum line and then route the intake line straight to your petcock. There is no need for a T connector! How do I know? I tried to connect the carb to the vacuum line and it ran like crap and wouldn't rev up. It was blowing air into the carb, so it had too much air. As soon as I did it right, it fired right up and ran beautifully. I did not have to do any adjustment out of the box. Also, I ended up using the air filter included. You don't have to use your old airbox if its messed up, like mine. However, this is optional. I am happy it was included though. The fuel lines included with the kit are okay, but I ended up using different ones for my vacuum lines as I got a few leaks from the included hose. I didn't end up needing the thicker gasket as mine was okay, but its nice to have as a spare. Overall, recommend if you need a new carb. I am pretty sure it also gives better performance than stock, I can get up to 40mph on a slight downhill. ... show more

I've been having so much trouble with my 50cc Chinese scooter since it bogged out on me with the airbox or carb malfunctioning popped this sucker in there and she's idling beautifully the carb is adjustable but I didn't need it it worked and fit out of box works great and idling better than before. and I'm happy she gets me to work! thank you will order another for my project scooter Side note this kit comes with everything to replace your fuel setup and vacuum setup plus extra fuel filters definitely worth the price ... show more
